If it were me, I would immediately pull all jerseys, any pictures, anything with his name on it and remove any videos with him in it. Like he never existed. He can rely on NFL merch to make him money. He doesn't seem to care about what we did for him.

I've been looking into a Jimmy Buffett retirement home in Florida. This whole experience has confirmed that I made the right decision to not have kids.

It is very difficult to coordinate doctors appts, surgeries, finances, and to maintain some sort of normal life. It will mentally and physically drain her.

Managing his medical care and finances and working full time has left me mentally exhausted. And he hates being there. I personally am looking forward to a retirement home. This whole experience has made me realize I needed to be contributing more finances towards retirement living so I'm not a burden on anyone.

My dad has put me in a terrible position. He made no plans for care after retirement. Saved no money. I finally had to intervene and make him understand he had to go to a nursing home. He can't walk, doesn't have bathroom control, can't move himself at all, and has very little upper body strength. His sister and friends seem to think I should quit my job in BR and move to his house and care for him full time. He was on hospice for about 5 months and I took him off of it in May. He is mentally better but bed bound forever. I told him he could move here and live with me and we could use his ss money to hire home aids but he said he will never move to the city. I don't think it is fair for anyone to expect me to give up my life.
