Tennessee being a top 10 program historically and having one of the largest fanbases in the country would explain our national brand.

It really all comes down to the Outback Bowl. If they defy logic and select Florida, then the GB will select UT.

Dale just likes to be a dick sometimes. Fact is, a lot of people think State deserves better but it's out of their hands. Congrats on a good season

What hate? I'm explaining to you if you want to get to one of the bowls you listed, finish higher the 5th in the west.
Are you wanting people to feel sorry for you? You are not the first or will you be the last that has this happen to them.
Arkansas one the west, lost in the SEC-C, and had a Carquest bowl to look forward too. We had the same record as Auburn, beat them head to head and were "rewarded" the Liberty bowl while they were able to go to the Outback. It happens, get over it.

Money.
We finished ahead of Auburn last year in the SEC, but they went to the Outback Bowl and we went to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, because Auburn promised to sell out the stadium.

Why the hell didn't we just give Newton his damn money? We sure as hell wouldn't be in this predicament. We would either be going to a BCS bowl or getting the death penalty. Im building a time machine and going back. I'll take my chances.

I guess this just makes up for your trip to ATL when the SEC West pretty much sucked.
