The way HailState has played on the road this year, I would look for ATM to beat MSU pretty handily.

But Vegas always knows, man. They.Always.Know.

A&M has looked decent and competed in all their games but they haven’t beaten any ranked teams. Right? MSU has showed flashes of being pretty good but also some inconsistencies. You think home team gets 3 points but winning at Texas A&M is not that difficult as evidence suggests. 2 running QBs and at times good looking Ds. This game could be fun to watch.

Look, we are headed into the second half of the season, a half that has been, ahem, problematic for my beloved Aggy.

Since the Reb/bear/land sharks lost their very good QB or the year, that game eases up some.

But the Bulldogs are a team that I think can put together some quality football, but at the same time, I don't think they have the capacity to counter if they are punched in the mouth.

Honestly I don't know what to expect, I hope the Aggies come out with the same grit they've had the last two weeks prior to they bye with the addition of a more effective offensive game plan. I do think if we are on schedule offensively we will win.

Cue Captain Obvious.

Dudes. MSU is not coming to Kyle Field and win a Saturday night game.

Don't you guys have a losing conference record AT HOME since joining the SEC? You should likely wish this game was at your place so you'd have a better statistical chance.

Johnny Manziel ain't walking through that door.

Outside of Bama and then Arky and Ole Miss at the bottom, who the frick knows about the West. It's so weird this year that even Vegas is like frick 'em. Part of me wants to say State should win easily but they also like 80-13 over a 2 game stretch on the road.

Sorry, but we don't play tight games. 25 points is the closest spread so far. Don't know if we will win or lose, but close doesn't seem to be in the cards.

This...I quit betting on sports many years ago for the same reason.

It is called defense. A&M doesn't have it. MsState's is pretty good and getting better. We also return a couple of offensive players for the game. A Left Tackle and a WR. We are gonna run it down your throats. It will be a close game until mid 3rd quarter and your defense will fall apart.

Held Bama to 27 points. They'll put 50 on y'all

Also lead the SEC with 28 team sacks. More than double that of Mississippi State

Except State has already been lit up multiple times this year. If anything A&M has the defense that has been getting better, even though I believe neither are that good we just have better pass rushers.

bama could have put up 47 points in each half but they used a quarter of their playbook against you because they can

Anyone with some speed and a competent QB went in dry on State, will most likely happen again this Saturday.

Lots of stupidity in this thread. Truth is nobody knows what's going to happen Sat night.

I think the bye week helps us. And we're pretty healthy right now. And we've gotten much, much better on defense. MSU has looked really good when they've looked good, and really bad when they've looked bad. So I have no idea.

We'll see. State leads the SEC (#2 in the NCAA) in sacks allowed with 3 and A&M has allowed more than six times that with 19 (#100 in the NCAA).

A&M may well win, but it's stupid to hang your hat on this stat. Bama isn't going to be BAMAOMG every week. They sleepwalked through the A&M game pretty much.

Your DL is really good at pressuring the QB. That's the strength of your defense. Unfortunately for you, that won't be a factor this weekend. If your defense can stop the run, you will probably win the game. If State can rush the ball, they probably win fairly comfortably. State's defense will do a good job containing Mond.

Yes, even more so in this game. State doesn't have the speed to contain him or match up well against dual threat QB's. Every 2nd half when they give Mond the go ahead has been the difference, he is improving each week. Bound to have a throw away game but I doubt it's against State.

Our rush defense is pretty good.

We're giving up 4.6 years per rush in conference play - good for #6 in the conference.

1 Alabama 2.06
2 Georgia 3.23
3 Florida 3.79
4 Auburn 3.86
5 South Carolina 4.04
6 Texas A&M 4.60
