We are not too far removed from his multiple helmet to helmet hits last year against the Bengals that got people so mad that his defense coordinator had to go to the m media to stick up for him.

Him going for the knee and maybe ending Nick Chubb's career can't help his reputation

This stupid shite only lives on the world of the rant.

(Also, the terrible thing with Chubb was not a dirty hit.)

You know, in China, if you run over someone, you’re on the hook to financially support them for life. Wages garnished. I wouldn’t mind if professional sports set up a similar system, and if you end someone’s career, you’re financially on the hook to pay them.

Didn’t see it, don’t know anything about it. But if it was dirty, the answer for at least five decades has been “that’s just Steelers football.” The Steelers and the Raiders have always played with different rules when it comes to dirty football. It’s like State’s cowbell rule except this one can give you a concussion or break your leg.

They have the video and pics in the other thread. Horrible injury, so I’m passing over that thread.

It's a violent, inherently dangerous sport. Maybe it's not for you.

It’d be a penalty if he were blocking, but lowering his head and shoulders into Chubbs knee isn’t.
I’ll take differences without distinctions for $400 Alex.

100% truth. Steelers have always been this way. Ravens are right there with them.

Talkings heads love to say "thats just Steelers football" or "that's just AFC North football" but when Browns or Bengals players retaliate, everyone clitches their pearls and talks about how dangerous and out of control the Bengal/Brown is.

Double standard through and through, and it's a big reason it's so damn hard for anyone but the Steelers and Ravens to compete in the poatseason out of the AFCN.

It’s always the RBs that get fricked financially and physically (injuries), and no one gives a damn. These RB’s are real people, not some interchangeable asset for your enjoyment.

There is a difference between $20-40 mill multi year contracts vs the $100-600 mill market that exist for QBs and finesse WR/CB spots that don’t take the hits of a bell cow RB.

Did the Soviet-style architecture of the buildings in College Station influence you to become a CCP sympathizer?

Well, yeah. As are you. Congrats.

By NFL standards, that is exactly what they are. As are offensive lineman that dont play left tackle, interior D-Lineman not named Aaron Donald, and safety's.

But yes, if some random safety wrecks his knee when he gets juked by Tyreek Hill, he gets Tyreek's house and live in maid and a gardner to be named later.
