Well he had to carry them. He damn sure couldn’t throw them.

The Truth shakes his head and wonders. "This guy," he thinks, "with an Auburn flair, and can't laugh at the ReliaQuest bowl?"

Outside of being the QB, he also lead the team in rushing attempts and rushing yards. To me, that is a problem and shows that too much of the offense is running through him.
To me, that sounds like someone that was looking to hype his Heisman hopes and NFL draft position.

He does throw a pretty interception.

He carried Vandy and Oklahoma to bowl games and Tennessee to a Playoff berth.
This.
When he was on, the freaker was nearly unstoppable - ask Georgia and LSU. When he was off, good Lord . . .
Vandy wasn’t a good game for the D or the O. Okie is squarely on his shoulders.
Then again, the coaching sucked arse.
He will need a great QB coach in the pros to be a starter one day. I hope that is next year.

He's 2-0 vs Auburn. Not saying a whole lot but still kinda nice.

In fairness, he did not target all the wide receivers. He ran left. He ran right.
He ran up the middle. He panicked too often. Could not read the defense.
BUT, he did target Williams most passing plays. AND because of it we just lost 2 5* receivers who were promising. Milroe is a athlete 1st. A runner 1st.
The blue print for Bama to winning Nattys is well known. Passing QB's who run only when needed. Not QB's who look to run 1st. He has had good days throwing on occasion obviously. Against lower competition.

I guess you didn't notice UGA's receivers' hands as we were beating that arse for the 11th year in a row.
I guess Alabama lives to beat Georgia now. Georgia lives to win national championships.

You could say the same for Payton Thorne and be just as spot on as this take

I feel bad for Jarquez Hunter. That guy is too good to have never experienced a winning season in college. But he made the decision to attend Auburn.

He was a three star, number 44 RB when we offered. He did fine.

How many Auburn recruiting classes will never experience a winning season?
