This has been bothering me since yesterday, I’ve been following Leach since his Texas Tech days and always enjoyed his camera time, you just never knew what he was going to say but you knew it was going to be pure gold. I’m praying for the Pirate and hope he somehow recovers from this.

what, exactly, about this is laugh-worthy?

people freaking out and painting their own picture can be quite funny, especially if you know something ISN"T going on that is quite as dire.

also, you're taking a secondhand account at what his colleagues actually did say/do.

True. I guess it's quite possible they're actually laughing at him.

I hope the pirate is ok and can fight through this. We need that guy in this world. Keeping he, his family, and the MSU family in our prayers.

Because some people were claiming he died last night and some are claiming he is brain dead and some are claiming it’s unknown if he had a heart attack or not. The truth is that nobody outside of his care team and his love ones know what is going on.

You know very well that brain damage can be severe enough for there to be minimal likelihood of regaining consciousness much less any sort of normal cognition and the patient not be classified as brain dead.

Until the family or university releases a statement that he has died I will remain on the positive side and pray he makes it and take whatever others say with a grain of salt. All we know for sure is he had a cardiac event and is in critical condition but still alive. The rest is conjecture and rumors.

I have a vision that he comes around and we get a video at the bowl game on the Jumbotron of him awake in the hospital bed giving us a thumbs up and the crowd goes insane. He then retires to Key West and makes appearances on ESPN as a commentator

I hope you are right. Just doesn’t sound good what has been reported by people who would know.

today's day and age is FIRST to the punch. everyone forgets you're trash for false reporting. you win if you're right.

If this happens no matter what the score is, I’ll take Mississippi to win. Talk about a way to fire up a team. I hope this happens and will pray that something along these lines happen.

if an old black nurse tells you "sugar, this is gonna burn" before giving you a shot in the wrist area, she ain't lying.

some deaths you hear about and its unfortunate, but you quickly move on in your life. others leave a lasting indelible mark on your life moving forward and the world seems less bright with these people no longer on this planet. I realized this after losing someone recently that I grew up with, but they weren't family. it leaves a mark...Mike Leach was one of those people.
