Heaven have mercy if Elko won a championship

20 million a year for 10 years is the starting point

What did Schloss say right before he bolted for Texas?

I personally think Elko stays but if he gets A&M deep into the playoffs Penn State is going to make a strong run at him which means big extension loading.

Yeah but this is different from Schloss.

Schloss was not about money. It was about joining his butt buddy del-cunty.

If Elko gets us to the playoffs, we will pay the man. Penn St will not outbid us.

Very reasonable response.

I concur

A&M should keep an eye on local cemeteries for a potential clandestine meeting

Why the frick would he go to Penn St

I'm nervous 'til they fill this position:

1) He's from the PA area (graduated from Ivy League U Penn)

2) He would likely be the highest paid coach in college history. with a massive buyout

3). He KNOWS how good he is at rebuilding every kind of program/ D:

Wake Forest, Notre Dame, A&M, Duke

4) His really only competition would be two schools (MI and OSt) and even THEN probably makes playoffs almost every year.

But the biggest lure I think is just geography- the attraction of finally returning Pennsylvannia to the epicenter of college ball like it used to be 40yrs agi.

Maybe they shouldn’t have crowned themselves Bama’s replacement before the season even started?

Sarge, at the end of this season I think you should create a post linking to the greatest hits the horns put out this summer.

It would be a great snapshot in time.

You could make arguments against most of those points though

1. Not everybody likes dealing with months of snow each year.

2. If he successful here, he will still most likely be one of the highest paid coaches in the country.

3. He’s already rebuilt this program in record time, why choose to do it again so soon.

4. A few more schools to compete against but greater odds of more teams getting into the playoffs from the SEC.

5. The Midwest will never ever be the epicenter of college football again. The SEC is the epicenter of college football.

I don’t have a filing cabinet big enough to hold all those receipts.

Heisman winner, Bama replacement, guaranteed national champion, best defense in the world ever, best coach and offensive genius to ever set foot on the field, the list goes on and on

I don’t think there’s anything that they didn’t brag about going into this year

Why didn't you address the rest of my questions? Sorry I have you so triggered right now. Sorry I caught you lying again. Sorry for the hit on your credibility and integrity again.

Tell you what. Fill this out and send it into Chicken. Maybe it will make you feel better.

And y’all should hire your coach a wardrobe consultant. Do you really want to risk Elko fashion against this guy, when y’all show up in Austin this year??

If Elko bolts then the BMAs need to make Dan Campbell tell them no as the first move.

Now that I have your attention, can you tell us what this is all about?

It seemed to be a big deal a couple of years ago yet there has not been one single UTrans fan on tRant that seems to know anything about it. Makes everyone wonder if any of the UTrans fans on this site ever actually set foot on the UTrans campus

Are they trying to teach guys how to be more masculine or less masculine? Is it that big of a problem for UTrans? Do the trans male need to be taught how to put on make up and wear dresses? You would think that after the Great Dildo Parade of 2016 that most of the students would have this figured out by now.

I make this joke all the time.

I'll take, Dan Campbell coaching the Aggies will never happen for $1000, Alex.

Nonsense! Would you like me to tell y’all about our Director’s Cups??
