Moore is gonna get canned next season, their staff is going all in

They have 4-5 first rounders, including two guys expected top 10, and are gonna finish the season 6-6

You would have to be a stupid frick to be a QB in that offense. They have no wideouts, wont have any RBs, and their OL is going to be shite. They made Nico Collins look like a bum

It appears someone is willing to give him 10,500,000 reasons to play for Michigan.

Thats still nothing on being a first round draft pick. Top draft picks get close to $40m on their first deal now

Its not like LSU isnt paying him either. He will be set up well for life either way

Would you rather play for a coach who just had a heisman winner, or play for a coach whose passing offense is averaging 130 yards a game

Do you know what percentage of 5* high school quarterback recruits end up becoming first round NFL draft picks?

Going off 247, last 5 draft eligible seasons we are looking at 7 to 8 out of 13 making the first round

2021 - 2/4 (Ewers TBD, likely 3/4)
2020 - 2/3
2019 - 0/1 (still drafted)
2018 - 2/3
2017 - 1/2 (both drafted)

Out of all the high schools in America with a functioning football team, taking the five star prospects at QB and conglomerating them into one group, you think 7 or 8 out of 13 will be first round picks? Thats not how this works

Using On3:

2022 (still in college): Klubnik, Simpson, Allar, Weigman, Brown (maybe one will go in first round, so 1 of 5.

2021: Maybe 2 of 6. (Ewers would have to go in 1st)

2020: 1 of 2

2019: 1 of 2

2018: 2 of 3

2017: 1 of 3

2016: 0 of 2

2015: 1 of 2

2014: 1 of 2

2013: 0 of 2

So potentially 10 of 29 (34%) in that time frame.

If you look at the last ten recruiting cycles that have been drafted, 2012-2021, it is less than 50%. Per on3, there were 26 5* quarterback recruits during those 10 years. Of those, 10 were drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.

Per on3, here were the 5* qbs by year so you can check my math.

2021 (Ewers will go first round to make 2/6)

Quinn Ewers
Caleb Williams
Sam Huard
Brock Vandegriff
Kyle Mccord
Ty Thompson

2020 (1/2);

Bryce Young
DJU

2019 (1/2):

Spencer Rattler
Bo Nix

2018 (2/3):

Trevor Lawrence
Justine Fields
JT Daniels

2017 (1/3):

Davis Mills
Hunter Johnson
Tua

2016 (0/2):

Shae Patterson
Jacob Eason

2015 (1/2):

Blake Barnett
Josh Rosen

2014 (1/2):

Kyle Allen
Deshaun Watson

2013 (0/2):

Christian Hackenburg
Max Browne

2012 (1/2):

Jameis Winston
Gunnar Kiel

With the NIL fund, Michigan should go after Tavien St. Clair.

First, no one's getting $10.5 million. Those are rumors being spread by people who have an interest in making these numbers look far bigger than reality.

Second, if you need to offer a QB $10.5 million to come to your place, it just goes to show how hard it is to get anyone to come to your place.

I’ve been to Ann Arbor. The only thing that’s decent about it is Zingerman’s deli. And maybe this chick

You sure about that bucky?

I think you should fly down to Austin some time and marvel at how Silicon has traded the Valley for Texas Hill country. It's not just O&G these days.

I went off 247 and not composites. ESPN and Rivals have been jokes at evaluating HS talent for a long time

On3 wasnt even around until late 2021
