What gave it away? The two upheld TDs or the 100+ yards of penalties?

Definitely a fumble, but that was never getting overturned that close

If the non-touchdown got overturned at 3-3 when they said his toe hit before his shin, I’m not sure how you can’t overturn that one.

Ya that's one of the limitations of replay, I think it's clear it was probably a fumble but it was close and no definitive angle.
We need to stop treating the call on the field as sacred, it's a complete guess for plays like that.

Oh look michgan getting an obvious turnover in their favor.

I'm fine with the call, the touchback rule is one of the dumbest in the sport. Texas in no way deserved to get the ball back there.

Makes up for the targeting

What a joke.
Thats not a judgment call. He clearly drops the ball.
Filing this play away as a prime example of why I hate football

We are going to bitch regardless.
Sark put a shitty product on the field today. No excuses for being this bad.

I always felt like it should go back to the 20 or something. Turnover always seems a little harsh.

why can’t they put Bluetooth or something like that in the tip of each football? If you then have the same thing on the goal line, you should be able to triangulate the position of both the instant the ball comes loose.. maybe?
I honestly don’t care about the result of that play, but it happens in games that matter too.. I think it would work good for 1st downs too

I've seen enough. I'm turning to The Gunsmoke channel. Maybe get in two episodes before CFP game.

Missing 6 defensive starters, top 2 RBs, and losing your top 2 WRs probably qualify as good excuses

Can’t spell Citrus without UT

Yeah I don’t know what everyone expects. Michigan can take advantage of that

I don’t know what the targeting situation was, but a touchdown that could have been turned into a touchback is about as big a deal as it gets in a game like this.
