Dyer has been great for Auburn, BCSNC-MVP and all SEC this year.... He has a decision to make, does he come back to Auburn for 1 year (he has work to do) against a lot of new players or does he transfer to a smaller school for one year (normally does not work well for the player). The decision is his... hope he does what is best for himself.

Dyer is good, but he isn't a t.rich. he just isn't a game changer. If he leaves, we will miss his durability. I think we have guys just as talented, they just don't have the experience, and that opens the door for a lot of unknowns.
Mason may be the next Cadillac IMO.

The problem for him is that if that link about drug policy rules is correct, then he's going to be sitting for five games next year. He's going to have a decision to make. It would hurt to lose him because he's one of the best in the conference, but that is a position we have some depth in.

Dyer is overrated. Without Cam he is average.

Then why didn't they rush any better?

We will find out next year when you lose your only offensive player. What will that spin be like?

He's got half of Au's offense this year. 10 of their 16 rushing TD's, and you only have 2 scholarship RB's who've touched the ball left on your roster. "guys just as talented" sounds like what we heard about your entire team this year in explaining how they would win 9 games and 10 with a bowl game at the beginning of the season by some au fans.

You are assuming this would be his second offense... I think that assumption is wrong... I understand it was his FIRST failed test which does not always carry a suspension but can...

The Dyer thing is a lot more than a failed drug test, this has been in the making since spring. The failed test was just the final straw. I would be very surprised if he was back at Auburn next year.

That's what was said when we lost Julio & Ingram last year. Bama's O will be fine. They'll have more skill at WR than this year, and Lacy will prove to be one of the top 5 RBs in the SEC. Bama's O averages 30+ next year, which will be good enough for the 5th straight 10 win season.

I've heard his suspension is a combination of things - pot & grades. It may very well be his first failed test, which would carry an optional suspension, but the grades thing is real.
Dyer is a flatout talent, but he's got some choices to make & growing up to do over the next couple of months or he'll lose the right to make his own decisions.

Bama lost much more last year, three first round picks and best qb in three decades. How did Bama offense do this year?

Apparently a lot of MVP's of the National Championship game on the hogs roster.
Losing dyer would suck. I have no insight as to the circumstances surrounding his possible departure but if he's done, i'm sure as hell happy with the kids performance the two years we've had him.
