Neither of them are the best coach in the last 30-35 years.
Pete Carroll and Howard Schnellenberger are better than Saban and Meyer.

Depends on what Meyer keeps doing. But, if he wins this, that is 3 National Titles with 2 different schools. Saban has 4 with 2 schools and isn't done yet.

You have to think about what Meyer did with Utah as well.
What makes Meyer impressive is how he brought Ohio State up to SEC level in just a few years - and beyond. Everyone thought that the Big Ten could no longer compete and Meyer is proving them wrong. Very impressive.

After tonight, the inmates will begin running the asylum at OSU just like at Florida. Not sure where he'll bolt when that happens. No confidence in Meyer's ability to sustain success.

Urban with a W tonight is right back shoulder to shoulder with Saban, behind by a Natty yet well ahead in W-L pct and Bowl W-L.
And younger to boot, and in a conference he can dominate to greater degree than Saban/Bama in the SEC.
Check this thread in a decade..it may well have become Urban by a landslide?
