"There comes a time (hopefully) in every player's career where the game starts to slow down and decisions are made quicker and easier."

Spencer Pennington would like a word...

Sure it can happen. I wouldn't want that to be the plan though. It might just have to be though.

Maybe not...

It certainly will. Alabama is nasty against the run. Mett is going to just have to keep drives alive. He's got to be able to convert some 3rd and medium/long situations to keep the defense fresh and to keep Bama's defense on the field.

We're not going to line it up and run right at Bama consistently. We cannot let them control the clock.

I wouldn't be surprised if Miles opens up with his 2-min offense. No huddle. A hand full of plays called at the line. No chance for Bama to substitute.

Would not happen. Mett has had issues calling out blocking schemes at the line and picking up blitzes. But it would be sweet to see some imagination in the LSU offense.

I have the potential to win the lottery too. Not happening. Even if Mett had the tools to be a good QB, Les hasn't shown any ability to develop him.

If we do toss dive into the pile, toss dive into the pile, and then incomplete pass on third down, I'm turning off my TV. How about a little creativity. Hey, here's an idea. How about something Bama is NOT expecting? Jesus.

I'm hoping LSU will try to set something up with that play. Maybe toss to Ware, and then have him throw to a wide open TE? I don't know, but that toss play drives me crazy cause it seems like it gets stuffed everytime.

With a name like Spencer Pennington, I don't think anybody ever thought he would do anything but hold a clip board.

We've run the hurry up offense a few times this season, too bad it hurries up the offense off the field.

Four words:

Look for Spencer Ware.

That's my impression of an ESPN guy making a prediction.

baseball scouts thought he would do something. he got drafted like 3 times. but that came to an end after he devoted a season to actually playing baseball

Go back and look at LSU's QB play in the A&M game.

A&M lost because they did not have enough depth on the DL. They moved from a 3-4 to a 4-3 this year and also moved into the SEC. They are not equipped, personnel wise, to handle a smash mouth game this season.

Last November LSU was 9 of 17 for 91 yards and 2 interceptions and won the game.

Jefferson also added 43 rushing yards. I guarantee you Mettenberger does not add 43 rushing yards to the LSU offensive output.

It's a completely different team. A&M is not deep on defense, Bama has the depth in the front 7 to not wear down late in the game. Why can't you grasp that?
