This week, yes. RB coach until the day after NSD.

Was he an employee of the LSU AD when he left for Texas Tech for the same position he actually coached at LSU?

see, this is a spin. At the time he was hired by Texas Tech, he was no longer on the LSU coaching staff. Thus, he did not make a lateral move. The same thing happened with Brick Haley. He was demoted to a non staff position, which is a nice way of saying "you may want to seek other coaching opportunities." And he did the same thing by following Chavis to A&M(where he was also let go). I know you think it is a clever troll to say he left LSU for the same position at Texas Tech, but you and I both know that's not what happened. He was demoted and left because of that.

A&M and Florida fans should be cautious about posting in this thread.

Eh, we hit a homerun with our DB coaching hire.

What's even more sad is a WR coach having more faith in his head coach at Memphis than the one at LSU.

maybe he's holding out for an OC position and thinks he will fare better at a school that throws the ball a lot than one that is focused more on the run. I highly doubt he sticks it out at Memphis for more than another year. The guy that took over for Fuente may also get a HC gig if he has another solid season, and he may have promised to bring Johnson along as his OC. LSU isn't the only SEC school Memphis assistants have turned down this offseason. AT the end of the day, LSu hired a different coach with New Orleans ties instead. Not a real big loss there. It's funny, though, how riled up some of you get about a position coach.

But that's not the point. You were turned down by a Memphis coach, so that means Memphis is a better program than A&M.
Come on man get your head in the game! :)

And? That doesn't really matter, because he graduated a Florida HS. It'd be like trying to argue that players relocated from Katrina should count as LA players.

This post was made like it has ANY sort of meaning or relevance in the wake of CEO's hiring of last year's national recruiting stars Tommie Robinson of USC and NOLA native and rising star Mickey Joseph of La.Tech.
