Compare that to 2016 where, with Miles, 9/10 of the top 10 recruits in Louisiana signed with LSU.

...and compare THAT to 2012 where, with Miles, 3/10 of the top 10 recruits in Louisiana signed with LSU.

It happens.

This is not outlandish at all.

No, it's pure speculation.

Winning cures all. If Ogre actually gets to play a full regular season schedule for the first time since 2014, and LSU wins 12 or more games, none of what you're talking about will be remembered, recruits will be jumping back to LSU.

If Ogre wins 10 regular season games and a bowl game, it will probably put most of the serious concerns to rest for a while.

If Ogre loses 5 or 6 games, there will be more grumbling, and more Louisiana recruits going out of state. That's just how it goes. The reason the HS coaches liked Miles, is because he averaged 10+ wins per year. They'll like Ogre too if he wins at a similar clip.

Come next signing day, the results will be similar to this year,

LSU will sign another class around the top 5? I wouldn't be too disappointed with that

Is that how Ed got a top 5 recruiting class?

Actually he didn't

I thought it was LSU that is obsessed Bama not the other way around. Thanks for you concern in our WR coaching position though

Having a G5 assistant turn down a raise and the same position at a supposedly SEC power is pretty unique. Sorry my post bothered you.

So is going out and grabbing the Pac12 recruiter of the year away from USC (that's the Southern California one). But I notice you haven't had much to say about that.

What's the matter, doesn't fit the narrative you're trying to project?

Until O proves himself, I can't blame any ambitious coach for taking the wait-and-see approach. LSU's current staff notwithstanding, staff that manage to stay on and improve their lot when an HC goes down are the exception, not the norm.

If you actually read past the headline you would see that it happened to two other SEC schools this month, so not unique at all

Why would you think your post bothered me? Because I pointed out your hypocrisy.

It's pretty tough on them at the moment. I mean one turns them down to stay at Memphis and one leaves them for Texas Tech for the same coaching position he had at LSU. Coach O doing work.

Do tell.

1. Is it untrue that the assistant at Memphis turned LSU down?

2. Is it untrue that Juluke was employed in the AD at LSU at the time he accepted the job at Texas Tech?

By your logic, the grad assistant who gets hired to a coordinator position made a lateral move because he was "employed in the AD".

You got slapped around in the thread yesterday and now you're trying this spin.

You're the one spinning. Can you answer this question honestly? Was he the running backs coach for the whole season last year?
