Really? You guys are a testy bunch. Just because one assistant turns you down to stay at Memphis. I'm sure y'all didn't want him in the first place.

Haven't heard LSU and passing game in the same sentence in a long time.

please list all of the Memphis runningback coaches that got a HC job in D1 football. I understand that was his statement, but that is just how he worded it to media.

What does that matter? LSU vs. Memphis.

Norvell's probably promising his staff that if they stick together, they can all ditch Tiger High for a P5 gig. Fuente did a good job turning Memphis into a decent G5 program, and Norvell just brought in Memphis' highest rated recruiting class in program history. Another year of above average success at Memphis, and I'm sure some better offers start floating around, but two more years of success at Memphis probably puts Norvell and co. on some big time radars. After all, it's not like he has an NFL first rounder like Paxton Lynch to work with either. Tom Herman just got one of the biggest jobs in the country after 2 (well) above average years at a program in the same conference as well

...and compare THAT to 2012 where, with Miles, 3/10 of the top 10 recruits in Louisiana signed with LSU.

2010 - 7/10
2011 - 7/10
2012 - 6/10
2013 - 8/10
2014 - 5/10
2015 - 7/10
2016 - 9/10
2017 - 3/10

I don't think the sky is falling, but to say that this wasn't a out of the ordinary year for recruiting in Louisiana is wrong imo.

To be fair, it would have been 2/10 had Dylan Moses been counted for Louisiana. Lord knows LSU fans would have counted him if he had signed with LSU.

Awesome comparison!!

That's what I thought, a NFL washout would rather sit on his porch and spit than go work for another NFL washout.

That's just sad.

What's even more sad is a WR coach having more faith in his head coach at Memphis than the one at LSU.

Pretty sad when your program has lost what, 6 in a row to a washout? Pretty indicative of the state of your program.
