I respectfully disagree. When it is all said and done, it looks like a pretty decent Friday of football.

- Apple Cup last year, in the snow in Pullman, was LITERALLY a de facto Pac 12 North C'ship Game
- when the schedule was made, there was no reason to expect both TCU and WVU to be unranked
- Iowa at Nebraska will probably be entertaining, and could have been a T-25 matchup
- Cincy at Memphis may be a pre-match of the AAC C'ship Game
- Texas Tech at Texas has been a great game in the past, and not just when both were ranked
- the MAC games today are not too shabby
- others I could comment on

I guess you are only happy when we have T-15 vs. T-15. I love ALL CFB, so I will taking in this penultimate day of the regular season as if it was New Year's Day!!

And the schedule was made months ago.. who could know. But bitch some more.

I have yet another dig at the OP's bitching:

- Virginia Tech at Virginia (on NOW) IS a de facto ACC Coastal Championship Game

The winner gets to lose to Clemson, I get that. But hey, they will get to hang a banner!!
(The Cavaliers have never won an outright conference title)

Those ticket prices tho

I'm going down to Auburn tomorrow to visit with my kid and watch the game outside the stadium. Out of curiosity, I got out on Stubhub last night and there were plenty of tickets available in the 100-120 range. Which is kind of surprising considering the face value is 180 I think. Just seems like a ho-hum Iron Bowl.

In what seems like a lifetime ago, the Friday after Thanksgiving was must see TV for CFB

Nebraska vs Oklahoma at maybe 3:30p

Texas vs Texas A&M at night

There's was no such thing as Black Friday shopping for a MAN, MEN were sitting on their azzes watch elite CFB all day

I'll watch Texas vs Tech to laugh at Texas
Missouri vs Arkansas for the laughs as well
Cincy vs Memphis could be a fun game
UCF vs USF till UCF pulls away by 30.

Were you a student back when Osborne could never seem to get past Switzer when he was at OU, I'm guessing late 70s , maybe early 80s?

That's when Nebraska vs OU was played on Friday at 3:30ish and Texas vs Texas A&M was played on Friday Night

Nebraska is probably the biggest realignment mistake.

Nebraska - Iowa game was very good. Nebraska lost at home at the end so it ended up being a great game.

Virginia/virginia tech was a really good game. 15 years of pent up frustration. :)
