If Kiffin leaves and Freeze has any success (I expect him to) then we better try to get him back. Yes I watched his Auburn press conference and have a chub going

Then he went 5-7. What happened that last year? Was the scandal coming out at that point or what?

His baggage finally caught up with him.

He won 5 games with Chad Kelly, AJ Brown, Evan Engram, and DK Metcalf.

Posts about Lane Kiffin

quote:

-He’s staying isn’t he? :(

-But there’s a reason he was called a fraud by Al Davis, left on the tarmac by USC and fired before the natty by saban. He’s a count. And he rubs everyone the wrong way. He’s all flash.

-No one is reading that. frick lane kiffin

-Auburn will sign a large contract to a championship winning coach tomorrow.

frick please take Kiffin

-By the end of the game all I could think about was “I honestly don’t care if lane leaves and I think it would be better if we just parted ways”. I dunno how you hold the fan base together after the shite he pulled the last couple weeks when our fricking fans put together everything he asked for and more. frick that ungrateful douche.

-frick Kiffin he can go

Let's be perfectly honest here. The Ole Miss fans defended Freeze when he was at Ole Miss claiming it was all lies about him. It was only after everything was public AND he was no longer there that your fans quit defending him.

It was also only AFTER he was hired by Auburn that the attacks on him got started again lol. C'mon, just admit it. (I personally don't have a very high opinion of the man's character but at least I'm consistent. He can coach, though, no doubt - and cheat good, too lol)

I only say this because of the hypocrisy. I mean, when it looked like Kiffin was about to be gone , you guys were saying "good riddance" on here. But then he got a ton of money to stay and he's a beloved coach once again.

If truth be known, and we're to be honest (Both Ole Miss & MSU) + (Alabama & UGA fans) none of us liked the idea of him going to Auburn simply because the guy can coach. It makes all of us hate the fact that Auburn is gonna be good again. tSec west is going to be brutal. That's what all of this adds up to.

ETA: Pisses me off, too, because BowlJackson gets to enjoy Auburn football again.

Freeze is a great football coach. But it is pretty hilarious to see that Auburn has just now come around to Freeze now that he’s their head coach. Funny how things change!

Well, that's true and a very good point. I guess we all hate someone else's coach until we get them

By the way, congrats on keeping Kiffin. I mean we would have to face him regardless of whether he was at Auburn or Ole Miss so I'd just as much prefer he stay at Ole Miss where he and Leach or friends.

I’ve been skeptical of the hire from the get go.

I wanted Kiffin and said Freeze is Gus lite since he got mentioned as a candidate

We’ll see what staff he brings and how he recruits. Only thing that will get me on board before the season starts

It must really suck to know that your pre-bowl football season ALWAYS ends in November.

It was a lack of defensive back recruiting and a starting QB going out for the season. Bad combo.

Damn, y'all are eaten up with concern about AU. Why? It's starting to get a little weird.

I might be mistaken but I think he’s one of ours that hates the hire
