Yes, it’s a bad loss, and fans hate it, but Jay Johnson does not care all that much about winning midweek games.
The midweek games are used to tinker with the lineup and pitching rotation to see what your players off the bench can do.
Jay uses the games to find out what players he may need to rely on later in the season and in a playoff run.

Many LSU fans such as sidewalk and havoc are like the liberals who cheered for the Canadian hockey team to beat the U.S. They are absolutely unable to be objective, every decision is based on the emotional rage they feel. They will cheer for their own self destruction as long as they think it will harm their boogieman.

It was supposed to change when Saban retired. That is what you told yourself. Yet LSU has gotten dogwalked by Deboer. That fact is what LSU football fans are struggling with the most.
So to fix it, they hired a coach who is 0-5 against Alabama.
