I didn't see anyone on this board defending him or even offering to wait and let the facts come out. He signed bulk autographs and that was enough to convict him for most of you.
Next time be more careful about whose side you choose when something like this comes up.

People tend to not defend douchebags when they bring trouble upon themselves.
Sitting back, pointing, and laughing at them is the proper response.

What purpose does a broker have of lying and saying that a player did get paid?
Because the broker had two videos of Manziel that he told Joe Schad that he wanted to sell.
ESPN is worth $40 billion. They are owned by Disney who is worth $85 billion.
This is probably the biggest sports story of the year and you are telling me that ESPN/Joe Schad saw the video, thought it contained something meaningful, and couldn't come up with the money to buy it?
Let that sink in.

Let me help some of you out by stating it in your lingo...
You catch your neighbor's dog tearing up the hefty bag you left in the backyard next to your burn barrel. You start to kick him in the nutz but, at the same time you notice your mutt cowering under the wheels of your house, while he licks the moon pie and BBQ sauce which came form your hefty bag, off his lips. While cussing him, you then you notice yet another dog running for the bar ditch in front of your house dragging a Natty Light box with it that contains the bones of the chicken wings you had the night before.
What are you going to do? Kick all the neighborhood dogs in the nutz? Nah, you probably will say "screw it", clean up the mess, get in your pickup and head on down to the bar. (which ain't a bad idea)
This autograph for money issue has been around a long ,long time. The NCAA can not risk opening the entire can of worms without risking total implosion. Guilty? I'm sure most are. However, the SEC, B1G, BigIX, PAc12, ACC, etc. are not going to let a weaken ncaa dilute a great revenue stream by suspending there top players over something that gives no one a competitive edge.

Manziel is trying to cash in on his celebrity now in the states, before beginning his pro career in Canada, if he can make a roster.

MEATBALLS"

Why? Because it's illegal for people under 21 to drink but legal for adults to drink.
Point is dumb.

Clowney is the most selfless person in college athletics. He signs stuff for random middle aged creepy men in hotel rooms for free...for the love of the game and out of the kindness of his heart.

The dude is deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize. Instead of sleeping, talking with his girlfriend on the phone, watching TV, or hanging with his buds, when Clowney stays in a hotel, HE seeks out sleazy drug dealers and signs stuff for them, you know, just to brighten their days!
