You damn skippy it's Pepsi. Crown and Pepsi!
I have a 12th Man Foundation link on my favorites and it doesn't link to anything in Seattle...so, there's that.
Thanks. The AU defense was nails for 3 1/2 quarters and I thought played well enough to win. I hate the fact that Shame-us Winston will go down as the hero but, AU did let some chances slip away.

Chris Davis' play last night?

1. Muffed punts
2. Blown coverage in 1st half
3. Blown coverage on final drive
4. Not looking when ball was snapped on final drive
5. PI on final drive
6. TD on final drive

I'm not picking on the kid or anything but, either his position coach wasn't watching him or he had the worst series of plays in the history of a MNC game.

Has his coverage been that bad all year? Would like honest reply, thanks. ..and no, I don't bet on football games.
Wait a dang minute...Johnny's leaving?... Well minus him, Mathews, Melena, and possible Evans are gone. The rest of the OL, receiving core including Seals-Jones, and seldom used running backs should remain intact.

I am like others, inclined to give the DC a pass because of injury, youth, etc. However, McKinney OC is a very poor play caller. With our TE's and running backs we could have had a borderline power running game when needed. (see Arkansas game) That is especially difficult to understand in some games given Johnny's injuries. Not to mention the need to protect our poor defense. In other words we needed a lot more ball control at times. :violin:
All you really need to understand about the Sumlin contract are these few things;

The Ags have been starved for winning football for a decade or more. He brought that in year one.

Great coaches recruit great players and Sumlin is killing it on the recruiting trail, along with a couple of key assistant coaches.

The Texas Aggies have the money. (see 1/2 Billion stadium improvements, 3/4 Billion in former student donations in 2012, PUF (look that one up), etc. Don't worry about the Ags wasting their money foolishly on an "average" coach.

Tip of the hat to Bama, The Tigers, The Tigers and The Tigers this year. Just don't get too use to kicking A&M's underclassmen defense around for long. :usa:
Watch the 30 for 30 "Pony Excess"...the old SWC wrote the book on buying players and Oklahoma recruits the same player. Barry was known for being very agressive in that dept. Everyone did it and it was a wink, wink amoungst alumni. In fact, with all the money flying around back then, there was somewhat of a competition between programs to get the player at any cost. (for the record I played against and lived 22 miles from Erick Dickerson)

But, don't feel bad the SEC caught on and caught up in the late '80's...See Harvey Williams A&M / LSU.

DaleDenton are you referring to RG3 the guy that texted his girlfriend on his wedding day? Glass houses? :rotflmao:
Let me help some of you out by stating it in your lingo...

You catch your neighbor's dog tearing up the hefty bag you left in the backyard next to your burn barrel. You start to kick him in the nutz but, at the same time you notice your mutt cowering under the wheels of your house, while he licks the moon pie and BBQ sauce which came form your hefty bag, off his lips. While cussing him, you then you notice yet another dog running for the bar ditch in front of your house dragging a Natty Light box with it that contains the bones of the chicken wings you had the night before.

What are you going to do? Kick all the neighborhood dogs in the nutz? Nah, you probably will say "screw it", clean up the mess, get in your pickup and head on down to the bar. (which ain't a bad idea)

This autograph for money issue has been around a long ,long time. The NCAA can not risk opening the entire can of worms without risking total implosion. Guilty? I'm sure most are. However, the SEC, B1G, BigIX, PAc12, ACC, etc. are not going to let a weaken ncaa dilute a great revenue stream by suspending there top players over something that gives no one a competitive edge.

:usa:
bamadontcare, what happened to your ankle thread? I was wondering. If can not see there ankles, can you look at the wrist and tell the same thing? :nana:
The take away here folks is, tu will be looking for a new conference to screw up...soon. When the two grumpy old men are gone the new regime will long to get the whorns back on top (where in their opinion they rightfully belong) no matter what it takes! Make NO mistake, they have a never-ending supply of money to make sure this happens! ...Just keep kicking their asses on the field.
Harvey Williams was the most developed 8th grader I've seen play. He was better than a young Eric Dickerson, who I played against. HW was several years behind me at HHS so I got to see him play alot. I played with Johnny Holland, a somewhat late bloomer because he was a 170lb high school QB that played 8 years as a starting LBr in the NFL. (he could slam a bb in 8th grade)

Here is another odd fact, El Paso is West of Santa Fe, New Mexico and about as far West as Albuquerque!
JFF had 73 rushing TDs and 74 passing TDs in HS. (may have those reversed) The really amazing stat is he had 5, Five, That's 5, ints. in 3 years. 2 of those ints. I know came in his senior year playoffs. :usa:

Gary Tiger, it's not the Spanish spelling it come from the Tejas indian tribe. It has nothing to do with Spainish or Tex Mex language. ...For some you not understanding the LSU, A&M rivalry the series goes way back to the early 1900's. Just FYI
They stole Bear, we stole Fran...just getting a head start. :banghead:
That's nuts. They should call that site Aggybevo. Obsess much? :banghead:
Shanetheleg, I will confirm that is was. Especially the year Harvey Williams spurned Jackie...If you could ask Harvey (I have) what the hardest hit he every took, he'll tell you it was Johnny Holland (both Hempstead boys). Harvey was out on his feet walking back to the wrong sidelines! If the Aggies can get back to being the Aggies of he 80-90's the LSU game will be oustanding in all aspects! :usa:  :usa:
Pen raised quail are usually about 1/8 native. They will live however, they die off at a faster rate mainly because they lack the skillz to survive. IF you put out water and corn or milo for a while they will hang around. Keep in mind everything eats them! If you can buy some from a farm that has them in a pen that they can fly around in they have a better chance... Also, if you can provide "transitions" from really short cover, intermediate to tall cover, it helps allot.

Chester, Bama fired a HC after he went to a cheesy little strip club in Pensacaola on the low, low. Yes, they and most major university would can this POS...Just my opinion
