I’m not sure how to react about this lol

Luke is a really nice guy, and I doubt anyone would struggle with the talent you guys have, but man... I'll just say good luck.

I don't expect former fans of a coach to ever speak highly of their ex guy.
Sam fricking Pittman got a head gig because of a desperate program out of thin air. He did leave the unit stacked so Luke is solid considering the circumstances in this one.
How's his OC playcalling been like. That's what I want to know.

Yeah, you'd think he would come in rejuvenated as hell not having the stress of an HC job.

Luke's OC playcalling? He has never called plays in his entire career, with the exception for FGs and punting.
For FGs, he loves to kick a FG from the 1 yard line, down by multiple scores (see LSU game last year - it was the 1/2 yard line). He got more aggressive for going for it this year, but prior to that, 4th and very short (no matter how much we were trailing by), he would always go for the FG.
As for punting, he used a critical timeout on a punt, because he called for a fake punt without an audible to get out of the fake.
I know he had the Co-OC title under Freeze, but that was a title only for a raise (gotta understand his dad and brother connections in the admin).
So, except for his bad decisions on FGs, Punting, and weird use of timeouts, nobody knows about his play calling, because he never once called any plays.

Have you ever looked at that fat frick’s face? The man is not intelligent enough to get stressed. He did not actually make meaningful decisions as our coach, rumors that they gave him a dummy headset that didn’t even work.

You better scoop him up! :)
I am curious to see who Kiffin hires for the OC position.

I think this is a solid hire.

I was never sure if that was coaching based or talent based.
This right here. And when he became HC and the line improved, it likely had a little to do with his recruiting some better players and younger guys having more experience.
Chaney was a fat slob and terrible OC, yadda, yadda, yadda. And yet, he wasn't too bad for us (as Arky and Tenner insisted he would be).
