You’re not even in the top 5 pussy boy. Baja fans are so insecure none of their best team crack the top 10 of greatest ever.
LSU 2019 will never be repeated! THE GREATEST IN HISTORY!!!

The 1995 Nebraska offense was too one-dimensional. 2001 Miami may have had the best roster but not the best team. I believe LSU has the best resume, so I'll go with them. But that 2020 Bama team was nearly unbeatable by year's end. I'd love to see them play 2019 LSU.

The best team was Nebraska. End of thread.

give it a rest man, they were better.
You would have to be insane to think that a Big 8 secondary from over a quarter of a century ago had any remote possibility whatsoever to could have even touch Jefferson and Chase. The NFL sure the f*ck can't.
LSU would have needed one defensive stop, two at the most, and it would be game over. They would have scored at absolute will.
I think you're the one who should give it a rest.
And btw, don't make a fool of yourself by bringing up how they were able to "shut down" Ike Hilliard and Chris Doering. Those aren't future Hall of Famers.

Oh, well there you go. Internet user knows more than Heisman Trophy winning, USC alum Matt Leinart.

The best college football team I ever saw play football was Nebraska. It doesn’t matter the era.

That Nebraska team would have fricked LSU on the ground all day, just like they did Florida!

Correct. I’m glad you acknowledged this

From that Florida defense that Nebraska destroyed: a 3rd rounder, a 6th rounder and a 7th round pick over the next two seasons.
LSU 2019 defense pick by round: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7. (And Stingley, another 1 the next year).
No comparison.

Depends on whose rules they play with.
If they play using 2019 rules, half the defense would be ejected for targeting and they'd have no clue how to stop an RPO.

Yet Nebraska won titles in 94, 95 and 97
Sign of a good solid team, not lightning in a bottle for one season that got its HC fired shortly after.
We're talking team, not offense. Yes, LSUs offense that yr was one of the best ever, no doubt, but the defense that season was pretty not good. Huskers could score and shut you down.

Yes. That Nebraska team wouldn’t have given you the ball. And wouldn’t let you you throw. You’re young?

Proving my point. They would run. It on you all day and you couldn’t stop it. They are the best team all time because of their OLine.

All i will say is time will not be nice to that 2020 bama NC. So many * by that season. It's already starting to show. Sorry in 10 years that 2019 LSU team will still be top 3 while your bama 2020 team will be lucky to be in top 10. That's just cold hard facts and you gumps even know it deep down. LSU 2019 beat every team at full strength in packed stadiums against much better competition . 2020 bama team beat depleted teams in empy stadiums thus the *.

Get out with 2004 USC garbage. They had a dominate title game against an overated opponet and a generational player. They also beat...
7 loss stanford by 3 after trailing by 25
6 loss UCLA by 4
5 loss Oregon St by 7
A good Cal team by 4
They were dominant is certain games but 2019 LSU had literally one game that was even remotely in doubt in the 4th qtr and that was #9 Auburn. They beat 7 top 10 teams. The only other option is 1995 Nebraska whose closet game was 14 and average margin of victory was 39 points.

"7 top 10 teams..." But for the thousandth time, what does that prove when you don't know how good those teams were compared to top ranked teams in other seasons? UGA trashed UT and Oregon last season, two top ranked teams. How do we know those two teams wouldn't have prison-raped every ranked team LSU played in 2019? We never will. So, its a useless, speculative argument. The ONLY way this argument could ever be solved would be for the NC teams to play one another and that cannot happen. LSU probably had the best O (or at least the best passing O) ever, but UGA's 2021 D was one of, if not THE best D ever. So, what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? They never met, so we'll never know.
