Mathieu may be the best performer on the field, but LSU had several others who are just as good overall. Montgomery, Mingo, Reid. This defense is unbelievably good.

Mathieu's a different type of player than Peterson, but he's a game changer just like Peterson was. He and Arkansas' LB/S Jerico Nelson remind me of each other.

Did Hatcher play in the game? I'm surprised he didn't make more of an "impact."
