Irish fans pretending Freeman hasn't lost to multiple G5 teams after taking over a program that was losing 1-2 games a year.

Kelly had ND in the playoffs hunt every year when it was a 4 team playoff including the year before Freeman took over.

ND is on pace to finish no better than 8th for the 3rd straight season while Kelly averaged a final ranking of 8.67 over his last 6 years.

To date if they finish 8th, Freeman will have averaged a ranking of 13.33

Freeman has done a good job maintaining the status quo but swap the schedules around and I HIGhLY doubt they are being talked about as a playoff team.

We're stuck with him, might as well be positive about it

Ouch.

So far, Marcus Freeman is 10-4 in games vs ranked teams with the Irish. Brian Kelly on the other hand is 4-9 vs ranked opponents since the move to LSU, a continuance of his underwater record vs top teams when at the helm in South Bend.

Well LSU and ND both have a common opponent (and both played their common opponent on the road)...

Luckily for the Domers, Aggie left Weigman in the entire game

SoS(expected losses)

LSU: 7th hardest overall, 1.89 expected losses for an elite team.

Notre Dame: 88th hardest overall, 0.42 expected losses for an elite team.

BK would only have 1 loss if he was coach at ND right now, if that. Maybe a loss to A&M instead of whatever terrible loss ND has(I forget the team).

Brian Kelly took over a team with 3 straight top 10 recruiting classes
2010: lost to Navy and Tulsa
2011: lost to South Florida
2012: NCAA sanctions for cheating

I think you missed the point about the "trend" here

Freeman:
9-4
10-3
9-1

Kelly
10-4
10-3
6-4

Based on your logic that Brian Kelly would only have one loss at Notre Dame this year, he should only have two losses this year at LSU. He has four. So far.
