Agreed. Apparently no one told the staff it was a good idea to get at least one more serviceable qb among those spots.

Every team except Alabama was an inconsistent mess. I do not know if that can be fixed in a year, tbh.

Ironically, all three of those programs need a very key ingredient to fix it. QB. And all three have struggled with that ingredient for a couple of years or more.

Yup, we have three who have started this year.
Add them together and you get about 2/3 of a SEC qb. And that is by adding 1/2 for White, 1/2 for JF3 and subtracting 1/3 for JJ.

While there are of course a lot of factors, I have to be captain obvious here and say it's Saban's coaching that is setting Bama apart year in and year out, but especially this year. He has been so ridiculously methodical and has dedicated so much to preparing his players mentally. He never is satisfied or excuses mediocrity. And that is why he is such a great coach. He lives it, it isn't just a job to him, it's a role he is passionate about. It's always been clear the other coaches in the conference don't give off the same vibe Saban does.

UGA hired an assistant who didn't even run the DC, he was a 9 year secretary for Saban so speak for yourself.

One of the most disappointing seasons that I could remember. Not just because of LSU, but the national landscape as a whole. That's what happens when you have the most potent dynasty in history. Not only does Bama recruit the best, they also coach the best.

I think after Bama there is a lot of parity.
We'll see how well the SEC is when they play the bowls.
Like most years we'll go like 7-1 and folks will say the SEC is the best or something when it really may not be.
