I've had it happen twice. Once in BR and once in ATL. Both times attempted carjacking. No need to go into long exact details of the stories. What I'm interested in is the instant internal reaction/instinct.

The one in BR was a white guy pulled a gun on a group of 5 of us hanging around outside a gas station on highland outside campus. It was an instantaneous feeling he would not use the gun and we all started arguing with each other (you drove, I'm out of gas, etc) within 5 min the police surrounded us all.

Second time, 20 years later, 2 months ago in fact, on a parking garage at a CVS in ATL black guy walked up showed gun in his waistband and demanded car. I was with my wife and people were driving in and out of the garage and walking to and from their cars. Again it was instantaneous I felt he was not going to use the gun. I started screaming at him and by the time I jumped out of my car he was running off.

I'm no OT badass. I was raised in a yes sir yes ma'am, few fights other than horsing around with cousins, etc.

I reflect on these experiences as psychological experiments.

I never talked about what I'd do if that situation arose, etc. I was surprised by my gut reactions those two times. So I would think if a person really intended on using the gun I would have given up the car.

I was still in college the first time (no military training). I was 15 years removed from my last day in service second time. So military training is removed from the equation.

So is it a lack of biological survival? Or that untestable energy we pick up on in dangerous situations?

Allen will go first so Barnett will still be available at #11 and I'll be disappointed of the Saints pass on him.
I don't, but no one expected him to be this good. Even the local ATL folks.

No reason to go all hyperbole but the Saints fricked up not drafting Collins for the OL

I'm happy for him and the other Tigers on the Falcons team and as of now I'll be pulling for them to win the NFC. But they won't beat the Pats in the SB.
I call BS. That house is too big for an inexperienced YouTube watcher to build. Maybe she could have convinced me if she built a tiny house out of an old school bus.

Unfortunately the days of the hardest - best workers making it to the top seem to be ending. Now days the go getter gets the heavier load without the compensation

One man can't fix/overcome the extensive corruption of city government in Chicago. He should take his talents and apply to the IBI or FBI

tDecline is real. Wait till Sark ruins the O and watch the countdown to Dabo's hiring.
Dupre. Speedy may not go till round 2 or 3 based on his off the field issues.
I disagree. Get the right OL bulldozers and a decent read option QB coupled with a good defense and it will always beat the HUNO wide spread fun & gun teams.
IMHO Eason is not the answer and unless they find a new QB and Kirby learns how to be a HC, UGA will stay upper middle of the east, but not 1st.

Eta: for all the UGA fans about to get their panties in a wad. I'm not the only one saying this. ATL sports radio 92.9 & 680 are saying the same things.

re: Craig to Auburn as OC?

According to Chuck Oliver on Southern Sports Today, Craig left bc Gus wouldn't let him run his position.
As soon as Saban retires and Dabo takes the Bama job. Until then he's staying in place at Clemson, unless Dabo takes him with him to Bama.

He gets too much $ not getting hired. We may all think he is dumb, but he did get a degree in finance from Michigan.

re: Does Sark get canned?

Depending on next season. He will only get one season to show of he can make it happen.

When Bo went down, Sark has no backup plan.
Mark will be an goffer for Gus. Gus is the OC at Auburn.
