My God what a Monster Cope. Any player that could help your team in 2025/26 will be getting offers from better programs. You have a coach mailing it in, and nothing to differentiate you as a program but cash. Everyone has cash.
You should have done everything to keep Musselman. He made the program different, and for a small group of players, a unique destination: little guy named Musselman with daddy issues, and players that loved each other. He could have recruited any player he wanted from Mykanos, Key West, San Francisco. He had something going.

Muss sucked the last year and a half. Last year's team wasn't any better than this year's (the conference is just better). Muss' recruiting also fell off a cliff as he stopped caring toward the end.

The good thing about being 0-5 is that I fully expect to finish 0-18, so every game is a potential to upend that and not end up in the record books.
