That was an extreme example, but for LB's & safeties there are a ton of nuances. No one is going to be elite at everything for their respective positions, it's just not possible. And when a defense is in a scenario/facing personnel where those things listed as weaknesses on a players scouting report are likely to come into play, then you sub them out for someone stronger in those areas. There's far more specialization in higher levels of football than people realize

Did not see that. There you go. The problem with Alabama. Players rule and coaches are ignored without repercussions. This is DeBoers dilemma. I would never want another win with that punk. Obviously there kids who want to play football and they are on Vanderbilt. Time to clean house at Bama and rein in these punks. Disgusting.

Completely agree. It was very obvious he was losing it. I don't care how good he may be but that type of behavior is completely unacceptable and it only hurts the team as a whole. You can be upset you lost. What you can't do is show up the coaches in that manner. I don't care if your coaches are aweful, football is the ultimate team sport and doing things like that have to be called out by the coaching staff and fixed.
