I think this is the perfect time for DeBoer to punish him for his antics. Maybe one game, possibly two. If he does not then I think his message will not be the team first, and he'll lose the team. Mature minds on that team including Malachi will understand there is consequences for their actions.

While I agree his actions were very immature and irrational he didn't harm anybody. He earned IMO a game or two suspension, dress only in jersey, and support your teammates and be a better person.

He should not be removed from the team as long as he recognizes his faults and are allowed to correct them.

I just watched the end of the game and was shocked how the announcers didn't even comment on any of Moore's actions. Very poor sportsmanship on his behalf and I think he should be suspended at least a half of the next game by the coaches to send a message.

Good work by his attorneys. Is he aware they already posted this from his account?

Deboer will be making a huge mistake if he doesn't sit him for the game.

I played and did some stuff I should not have done out of frustration and believe one game should not label a player as a thug, but he really needs to sit out a game.

It was quite the display

More importantly, he didn't take his frustrations out by recklessly and drunkenly driving 110mph around campus after the game.

it started immediately after Vandy picked up the clinching first down. He drove the QB back into the ground after the tackle. Then he starts having a temper tantrum, throws his mouthpiece down the filed while everyone is lining up in victory formation, then goes over and kicks the ball. Even after that penalty, he's still having a tantrum before the final snap. I honestly can't believe Deboer left him in the game after that penalty. Saban would have yanked him out and chewed his arse out for that display. I mean good on him for apologizing publicly, but he'd be doing a lot more than running stairs after that

Not that any of us have a vote, but DeBoer has a moment to set a tone or establish a new standard.

Sitting him this game and letting the team reconsider his captain role would be a strong message.

I get the emotions. But, he is a 5th year player. It's all just words without action.

Wait, does Bama have an alternate uni that replaces "Alabama" with a simple "A" on the chest?

Tbh, what he did in waving off the sub was NBD until he ignored the coach who came out onto the field. That means the sub was for a specific reason, not because Moore was gassed. Passion or not, that's a 5th year player setting a bad example for the young pups.

Hopefully he lives up to the standard of wearing that script A moving forward.

Sounds like he is exactly what that script A represents. I'm kidding. I kid my Bama brothers....

They have a script "A" on the chest above the number. "alabama" isn't written anywhere
