What they established is if you get beat by bad teams you will not be rewarded. I am amazed at how so many Alabama fans can't understand that. If you had been beaten by Georgia and beat either Vanderbilt or Oklahoma you would have been in.

So basically, let's make the regular season unwatchable.

That's essentially what is going to come down to in an expanded playoff. Why schedule powerful OOC opponents when you already have to go through a conference that consists of teams such as Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama? On top of those traditionally solid teams, you have scrappy and talented teams such as Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Missouri, and Texas A&M to contend with. And then on top of that you could lose to a Mississippi State, Kentucky, or Vanderbilt on any given Saturday if you aren't careful.

No other conference comes close to that kind of line-up. There's simply no reason to schedule tough out of conference opponents, especially when the Committee has gone on record saying they value wins and losses over strength of schedule.

That’s a pretty impressive inferiority complex when you’re fine with something bad happening to you as long as it also happens to someone else you don’t like.
More hypocrisy coming from the fanbase that has murdered one of their own fans because that fan was not upset enough at losing the Iron Bowl.

The same fanbase that celebrates one of their own poisoning trees on the campus of their rival school because of their insecurites.

Most of you losers are too damn stupid to understand that everyone else mocks the majority of your fanbase because many of those people think supporting a school that wins championships makes THEM a winner.

You losers truly believe that.

i wish the SEC would form their own league and let the rest of the teams have their own playoffs. Nobody's forcing yah to be in this league

Bama has won a ton of titles , let teams like SMU and Arizona St have their moment

They also have established that you don't have to beat anyone good to be rewarded.

SOS is not the issue.. you just can’t lose to subpar teams multiple times. Don’t worry, you will get used to it…

Uh....be careful what you wish for. Those in the know seem to think it's a matter of when and not if something like this happens.

We're celebrating because for once we don't have to suffer through Bama worship by the TV types for an entire bowl/playoff season.

There hasn’t been any worship of Bama since Vandy.

It has nothing to do with Bama in or out, Ole Miss and USCe just got equally screwed.

What an angry sick frick you are, Aubie. Seek some professional anger management before you punch Buffy in the mouth and knock the only remaining tooth in her mouth out.

Name the bad team Sc lost to. Every team that beat us was 8-4 or better.

Not saying we should be in but that logic doesn't hold if that's your metric.

It is.

However, you are unable to see the forest through the trees due to present circumstances. The Committee has established two precedents and you are only paying attention to ONE of them:

1) Don't lose to mediocre opponents. That has always been a thing. We all know this is something you don't do.

2) SOS no longer matters. Schools like Indiana, SMU, Notre Dame, and Penn State slipped into the CFP despite beating hardly anyone with a pulse. At the end of the day, Notre Dame's best win was against Army, Penn State's best win was against Illinois, and SMU's best win was against Duke.

Uh, this has been going on ever since there was a CFP

Why was A&M excluded in 2020 for Notre Dame?

Carolina is the only team with a legit beef and that's because of the LSU game shenanigans. Bama and Ole Miss lost to bottom feeders. Don't do that and you're both in.

Playing a softer OOC schedule does nothing because all of your loses were in conference.

Saban is gone. This is the new normal for Bama. A fringe playoff team.
