Jones has the football IQ to be a good NFL starter. I think he’ll have the best career of any Bama QB since the 80s.

I thought Auburn had a way better chance against him than Jones.

No, you didn't.

Mac Jones' Alabama career...

Heisman finalist
Davy O'Brian Award (Bama's 1st)
Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (Bama's 3rd)
Manning Award (Bama's 1st)
Consensus All-American
SEC Championship (led Bama to it's 28th SEC championship)
National Championship (led Bama to it's 18th claimed Natty)

Hope he does well in the pros, but he has already helped Bama.

Bo Nix would still suck had he been the QB at Bama last year.

The QB position makes the offense go. Look at the talent on that 17 offense, yet that offense wasn't that great because Bama had a passing challenged QB in Hurts leading the offense.

Reminds me of your Mountain West Conference coach.

I gotta admit I didn't even know there was a Mountain West Conference till Auburn hired one of their coaches.

Agree with you on Jones. Don't agree about Tua. Mac will be a huge bust, but I still think Tua will be a really good NFL QB.

Mac won’t even be as good of a backup as McKaren

Just as we’re already seeing with Tua.

When you pay to have 5 star receivers, running backs, and lineman all over the field it’s pretty damn easy to drop back in a clean jersey and sling it to a guy that has three to four steps on his defensive back.

This is such a hot take. I don't think I've EVER seen this argument made on the information superhighway before.

Does this apply to Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields too?

No worries, he has the modeling career to fall back on.

I think Harsin will be the same as Gus but with a little better offense.

Where did the idea that tua did especially bad for his first season relative to what most 1st round qbs do come from? Was about average I would say. Didn't have quality receivers
