When is the last time they sucked this bad and made it? You keep looking to previous seasons like they matter to THIS YEAR, let me know when you want to join reality.

Beating Arizona twice and winning 8 of 9 isn't bad.

UW is heating up at the right time and that's all you need for a deep run in the tourny. But while it is a possibilty, to say they will make it further than any other SEC team is pretty bold. If you think a deeper run than Kentucky is realistic then you are flat out delusional.

When you're beating nobodies it doesn't really matter. The P-12 is awful this year, the worst its ever been. Like I said, UW has ZERO big wins. Not a single win vs an RPI Top 50 team, and once again not a single win vs. a definite tourney team...it's a gift Arizona even got put "in" in this bracketology.

Never said they would make it farther than Kentucky... just the rest of the SEC.

and what was Butler's RPI the last 2 years? RPI is a joke.

Pretty sure it was in the teens two years ago, and in the low 30s last year. They had solid resumes both years. Particularly 2009-2010.

I would be worrying more about getting out of your "bubble" status before outperforming the SEC in the tournament. We'll see if the Huskies can keep up the pace with their final three games on the road.

As of last Monday, this is Washington's NCAA team sheet:

So you're hot right now, I'll give you that even though there's still two weeks and a conference tournament left. But beating Arizona twice is something you're hanging your hat on? There #67 in the RPI and clinging to one of the final bids in Lunardi's bracket.

Well keep jerking off to RPI... I really don't care.

And both teams could go Sweet 16 or further if they get hot...

You should make a thread and have those for all the SEC NCAA bubble teams.

You could apply that statement to anybody in America. If that's your case for getting in, you don't have one.

From what I have been able to find, Butler's RPI for the 2009-2010 season was anywhere from ~12-19. For the 2010-2011 season it was anywhere from ~29-35. Washington is currently in the upper 60s. How exactly is Butler an example of RPI being meaningless again?

30s is good? I thought it was bad? RPI is just some mythical made up poll like everything else....

You can find them for all teams here. The selection committee looks at that when deciding bids. Should be updated today or tomorrow for last week's games.

I only did it for Washington cause the UW fan irritated me.

I mean people make fun of SEC basketball, but it doesn't hold a candle to how shitty PAC basketball is.
