LSU's Regular Season Baseball Title

Yesterday's loss to Sully's Gator squad told us a lot about CPM's 2015 LSU team... Do the Tigers actually win the conference title with Florida and Vandy both on their schedule this season? They go what ? 3-3 at best in those 6 games... I know LSU fans have always taken the high road when it comes to complaining about another SEC school's schedule, regardless of the sport... But any time there is a scheduling bias or injustice taking place in our great conference I'm going to address it... LSU's SOS is almost in the 60s... That's unacceptable... I'd hope that Alleva makes a concentrated effort to change this in the future... Certainly sooner rather than later.

Don't care....have a ship!
Now you see how we feel when Bama avoids top East teams in football.

Hey pal....talk about schedule inequities> your football perm. opponent is VANDY...lol
The baseball SEC schedule rotates opponents off/on with NO perm. opponents from the opposite division, this is how ALL schedules should be !

LSU is your 2015 Southeastern Conference Champion.
Deal with it.

24/7
Who cares?
How do you know that we go 3-3 if Vandy and Fla were on the schedule? Regardless of the regular season title, it's obvious that LSU, Vandy, Fla, and TAMU are elite this season with Arky in sole possession of the 2nd tier.

What does their SOS have to do with the conference title? It is where it is due to a weak OOC (220 SOS).
They clearly had the best record @ 23-9 and it wasn't close.

Shiny hook, but LSU won the conference by 2 games. You are saying LSU would have gone 3-3 vs UF and VU which is fair. Even assuming VU swept LSU and LSU swept UF, LSU would still be SEC champ if A&M won 1 game vs VU (which they did in Hoover).
ETA: While we are considering hypotheticals, the above assumes LSU wins the rainout vs UGA.

You have to realize that all of the top four teams only played one out of the other three. A&M didn't play UF and Vandy either and since UF and Vandy didn't play LSU or A&M the chances are we would have more losses if that occurred as well. LSU are the champs and rightfully so.

The funniest part of dude's melt is that he reps Ole Miss, which was totally irrelevant to the discussion in the first place. Penis envy.

More rest for the regional is fine with me. We didn't want to 3 peat and mind frick this conference again
Like said above we have #1 and the champs for a reason we did something to prove that. Florida was the better team that day and that is all that's to it

Can we really consider taking LSU's title away when neither UF or Vandy faced A&M or LSU in a regular season series. Clearly the west was more difficult with the higher RPI an more tourney teams.

It would be a legit question if the other top 4 teams all played each other, but it turned out not to be the case. It would have been some great baseball that we missed out on is the biggest crime in my opinion. LSU vs UF or Vandy would have been great baseball, same with A&M vs UF or VU. You want to play the best to get ready for post season.

That's debatable... Mississippi State is in the West... They were an automatic 2/3 this season... The team and coaching staff pretty much quit in late April.
