You have to be enrolled to be on a college football roster. I'm just curious if they were actually enrolled and taking classes, or if Kiffen just brought them in. Nobody seems to know for sure. Also, did LSU pay them while they were practicing with the team? What does the NCAA say about paying official school NIL money to players who are not actually enrolled in school?

LSU will be thrown out of a conference it helped found in 1936 for not breaking a rule. The vote passed said you cannot play “professional” athletes. LSU never rostered a pro. SEC sued LSU for attempting to block a vote to rule on expelling LSU. LSU’s president released an email pre dating this suit in which he tells Sankey to have his vote LSU is not and never will attempt to black. So….what rule did LSU break?

Be real. LSU isn’t getting thrown out of the SEC. I refuse to believe that the chancellors and presidents of the SEC institutions are so shallow that they’d vote out a charter member. Especially a big six member effectively erasing 100 years of history due to 1 moron coach that they don’t like. My best guess is it will be a pressure campaign and LSU will assimilate.
