Yep LSU sucks, Ole Miss should easily handle LSU and beat us by 21 maybe 28 points

I endured this last season. LSU had better hope slow starts like this aren't a trend (a game against Lane himself comes to mind). Eventually it bites you. Playing down to competition isn't good either. Still, Lane likely got caught looking ahead given the emphasis on the game ahead. I do have some real concerns at the QB position for them though. Sam Leavitt did not look good.

Agreed. I have a co-worker that’s an Ole Miss alum. He’s been working little jabs about Kiffin since January. About Golding being better for Ole Miss and how Kiffin isn’t actually good.

This, honestly.
I'm curious to see if Leavitt can develop into a good QB, but as of right now LSU's defense is really good and can help overcome his mistakes. The flip side is we know Clemson's offense is hot garbage, and we don't know about La Tech either.
I still think LSU's defense is good despite the competition, but are they "good" or are they "elite" is probably an answer that will take a few more games to answer.
