I expect your team to take us to the wire, like most times they meet.

I am sincerely upset that we are losing the annual Tiger Bowl. That shite is gay. In the arse gay.

So here's some of the best games we've had recently. I looked at a lot of lists to see which are highly regarded among a large percentage of fans, and the ones I personally think are incredible.

The Earthquake game and the barn burner are legendary. So I'll leave those off the list. We all know how great those were.

September 20th , 1997

Final Score : Auburn 31 - LSU 28

A Tiger Bowl if there ever was one. Not only was it a wild shootout. But it has the frickery you'd expect from these two.

Dameyune Craig fricked us up for 342 yards and two TDs. On the flip side, Cecil Collins ran for 232 yards and his own pair of TDs.

The last play of regulation would have been LSU QB Herb Tyler throwing a hail Mary, but Auburn was flagged for illegal participation. Giving LSU a chance to tie with a field goal. It was blocked.

October 22, 2005

Final Score: LSU 20 - Auburn 17

John Vaughn (The Auburn kicker) during the game made a 26 yard field goal early in the 2nd quarter.

Little did anyone know, his next five field goal attempts would be misses.

The game goes to overtime, 17-17. Vaughn kicks for the lead, and the ball hits the left upright. LSU goes on to win it.

October 20th, 2007

Final Score: LSU 30 - Auburn 24

You all know the one. LSU trails Auburn with 32 seconds left in the game. Les Miles opts not to use his final timeout, and instead dials up a 22 yard fade to Demetrius Byrd. The rest is history.

September 18th, 2004

Final Score: Auburn 10 - LSU 9

Defending national champs LSU led most of this game 9-3. That is until Auburn Quarterback Jason Campbell led a 59 yard touchdown drive near the end.

At 9-9, Auburns extra point wins it. Vaughn misses , seemingly leaving the game tied.. however, a personal foul on LSUs Ronnie Purdue gave Auburn another attempt.. Which was successful and ended up giving Auburn the win.

Please add more if you got em!

If we can muster up a few stops we can win! Kinda skeptical though. Our D has been arse all year except for a few series last weekend

LSU is actually a fighting tiger and our colors etc were actually those of an infamous civil war unit from New Orleans which was probably the most feared unit of the war

I was at that 2005 game. I could not believe that kicker just kept missing field goals. Almost felt bad for the guy.

I will also say that the 2019 matchup was a great game. I think Auburn was the only team to really keep it close the entire game.

The one I will never forget was the 96 Barn Burner game. My last as a student.

The student section didn’t even know what was happening until the stadium announcer told everyone JHS was NOT on fire because it was behind us.

Always loved LSU week when the Cajuns rolled into town….was quite a scene around campus.

Based on this weeks’ threads, cause of death looks to be more apathy than defeat. Mizzou vs Kentucky somehow feels more heated.
