If LSU O, do what you been doing.

IF LSU D watch for those damn running options plays. You let one through they will start gashing. The first three downs will be the most important time for you to stop them.

If AU O, throw it. With the flags they are calling you have a chance to move the ball vs penalties.

If AU D, blitz Joe on every play, when joe has to hurry his accuracy is way down. Everyplay get to him. Like go Nick Fairley on him.

Shut down the run and make Bo Nix beat LSU with his arm and then put Stingley on their best receiver and Fulton on their second-best receiver.

Use misdirection... got to convince LSU officials, fans, and football team that the game time changed to 9 pm so they don't show up.

My game plan is not to talk Friday.

To drink a lot Saturday before the game

Bring cough drops and honey Jack into game

Drunk honey Jack

Scream until my throat is sore

Take cough drops

Scream more

If I’m Auburn’s D, I hope I can get pressure with 4, and take chances jumping routes to create turnovers. Without turnovers, Auburn loses handily. Auburn will need 3-4 more drives than LSU in this game if they want to win, because LSU is far more efficient.

If I’m Auburn on O, I take up clock and try to churn out long drives to lessen Burrow’s time on field and break LSU’s rhythm. They won’t win a shootout, but they might have a chance if they get turnovers on D and play keep away on O.

Nix isn’t besting Burrow in a shootout.

Safety blitz every play but switch the middle line backer with the safety so it is like a stealthy lineback blitz but it's safe cause it is coming from a safety position. That's what I would do.

Burrow has been feasting on blitzes

Our running game has improved massively and will be the difference imo

This. I feel like a switch was flipped at some point in the season. All the talk about Burrow and the passing game, but damn the running game is coming on strong

That’ll just make burrow angry and you won’t like him when he’s angry.

I really think LSU goes the ground and pound to establish TOP and long drives against AU. You can see they've been trying to get the ground game working and you have to think if we can establish a ground game against UF (done) and AU (we'll see) then we can do it against anyone.

AU's DL will probably be the best we see in the reg season. If we can't get the ground game established, I'd open it up and let Burrow drop bombs.

AU on O
Got to get the run game on the perimeter and attack the middle of the field on short and intermediate routes to hopefully open up a few runs between the tackles. Work in some slants and easy passes to get Nix settled. Basically do everything Gus has refused to do for 4 years.

Frankly I don't think the offensive line is good enough, but they certainly aren't good enough if Gus stubbornly sticks to his MO.

Not sure if it changed from week 7 to week 8, but there is nobody in the country better under pressure than Burrow.

He takes sacks, but he is really good at feeling pressure and working the pocket. If you can get him down that's great, but if he steps up, usually his WRs have had enough time to get open downfield, and he rarely misses.

If I were planning Auburn's defense against LSU's offense... damn, that's a tough one. Burrow's efficient, accurate, and is seeing everything right now.

Don't get caught up trying to force pressure on the QB, I guess. The O line just absorbs and falls back, so it wears out the D line constantly rushing. And if they focus too much on the passrush, the LSU running game is opportunistic. Burrow sees the lanes and feeds the backs (like against Florida). I'd maybe jam at the line and double the WRs, force it to the back and TE, and hope they're not as crisp. Try just to contain things, and hope LSU gets inside the 10 instead of scoring on longer passes. Once the field shrinks, it's going to be tough for LSU to pound it in. So play to give up a bunch of FGs, hope to score enough TDs to stay even, and hope Burrow gets greedy and tries to force a pass into coverage.

Brown pull down Burrows pants on a tackle and Davidson comes in with a nuts kick, and he ends up completing 32% of his passes. Ruffle Burrow and LSU is dead in the water.

This tells me you have not watched Auburn play. The secondary is the weak spot but to say below average is erroneous. Lots of talent in the secondary, safeties are weak in coverage, but definitely not "below average " as a unit. It's scheme more than anything that skews the stats.

Basically, AU has to make a few first downs and hit home runs with Schwartz, Stove, and deep balls to anyone who can get open...only need about 4 of those :)

AU has to hit Burrow, clean, but knock his arse in the dirt with #5, #3, #91, #1, #33 - AU has to make LSU think about it...

As for LSU, well, your hot right now, use the crowd, establish run, play action deep, quick short, protect the QB

On D, stop the run, don't let the speedsters get loose
