You know who's #1? Iowa State.

You know what else? They're 3-3.

Y'all can make these threads yapping about your schedule all day long. But if you're not the last guy standing at the end of the season, no one gives a shite. One of these years, you'll figure that out.

Arkansas has a damn good SOS.

Better question, why do you care what other fans think?

So the fact that LSU is 6-1 with the 6th hardest schedule so far is good right

Don't bring out facts, they are irrelevant.

This only tells a percentage of the story. Ohio State has five games left. Four of them are going to be contests, especially since OSU has decided not to use their offensive line and actually block the defense. Or run block for that matter. Purdue at night in West Lafayette, Bye week, MSU, at Maryland (here’s looking at Bevo), Nebraska and home vs Michigan. I see OSU losing one or maybe two of these. Sparty usually gives them fits, and Wolverines could take them down this year. Probably a Rose Bowl berth vs Oregon or USC. Buckeye Nation would take it. Let Michigan get Spartied in the CFP

Of course it is.

It will be even better when you're 10-2, and ranked #5, with the #1 hardest schedule.

Will y'all still be starting threads about it?

You kidding? They literally got a waiver to get out of playing a P5 non conference game. This year their schedule is extra soft.

They've played a strong schedule but their performance against that schedule still places them somewhere in the 9-15 range. Sagarin has them at 9, S&P+ has them at 14; there's not much separation between teams once you get past Alabama so you're not really wrong.

The issue is that people still think results against lesser teams are meaningless. That's never been the case, the numbers just have to be properly adjusted.

I think the point is that everyone plays cupcake games, but LSU's cupcakes are actually winning their other games. The same can't be said about Bama, A&M, Ohio State, etc.

If you want everyone to rank LSU #1 now, I'm all game.
I couldn't care less rather to be #1 now, or even #4.

It's not like Bama hasn't beaten LSU while they've been #1 before
