LSU really proud they held their own against Alabama last year
Proud to play well against the team that won the championship. How sad indeed.
especially considering that most teams do not hold their own against Bama.

One of my favorite things to do every morning is to check in on the SEC Rant to see the obsession with LSU by the fan bases of the other SEC schools.

LSU was down 14-0 early 2nd quarter and was never closer than 11 points for the remainder of the game. You were down 21-3 with about 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
You may have "held your own", but it was a game I never felt was in doubt and never felt nervous about.

One of my favorite things to do is laugh at the people that say, "The board is obsessed with our team" considering every fanbase says this, sans Vandy...

They played hard, no doubt. The players couldn't have given any more effort than they did and that's all you can ask for. They just didn't have the players to win that game. About halfway through the 3rd qtr I said LSU is doing all they can. With that said Jalen was not getting it done and probably held the score down but there is no denying LSU was playing their tail off which they do against Alabama. I think the last couple of years the Alabama team was looking ahead to Auburn. It hurt Bama against State last year as well.
I've been watching football since the early 70's and most games LSU has come into the Bama game with less talent, less coaching and not much of a shot to win. They would always play hard though. It's still pretty much the same today. There isn't much of a chance this year either but that will be the hardest game LSU plays all year.

Until we have a competent QB we aren't gonna beat Bama right now....

Pretty easy to stop Bama's offense without the threat of a pass. Tua will change that this year.
Minus the long run by Williams, which eventually lead to a score, Bama wins that game 24-3.
Close game I know.

Etling didn't see a WIIIIIDE OPEN Guice on the left sideline which would have easily, easily gone for a TD when the game was either tied or close. Could have been a huge momentum shift in the game. There were several plays like that throughout the game. If a couple of them go our way, who knows.

The OP was referring to O at the SEC Media Days. O was talking about his interim year. When it was 0-0 in the 4th.

How do you say that as a coach who has been part of the staff of since 2015? I honestly can't imagine another coach saying/admitting/thinking that.
He probably realizes that the players aren't thin-skinned, gaping vaginas.

Alabama fans and Aggie fans just can’t stop posting about LSU. It’s pathological. And very weird. And more than a little sad.

It's because we love how sensitive you Tigahs fans are. It must be because of the high blood pressure from eating lard-arse food all day.
