Down voted and RA'd. You can't feel bad and then be glad one sentence later. You are making Aggies look pretty shitty with things like this.

I will say a prayer for the young man and hope for a quick recovery. Injuries suck. Hope they are few and far between.

Looks like he got that break. A shame, as he's been a good poster. Temporary insanity.

Not good at all. I don't think anyone behind our starting two are ready to step up.

Not only is he a starter but DT is LSU's thinnest position. So needless to say it's a really big blow.

Just glad to see it wasn't a knee...

It isn't out thinnest position so much as our least experienced.

Losing quint in will suck, but Lacouture was our #1 guy.

We needed some younger guys to step up either way as we usually rotate 4, but this definitely doesn't help.

No it was at practice and I don't think he tore both.

It wasn't both arms. Medically you have a biceps in each arm. The full name of the muscle is "biceps brachii". It is called the biceps because there are two (bi) heads to the muscle.

Hate it for the guy. I'm sure he busted his arse all off season and have it taken away this close to kickoff must be tough.

Yep...

And he's a great teammate as well. Redshirted early on, and then was buried on the depth chart the last few seasons. Worked his arse off and kept improving each year. Got a little PT last year, but was primed for a breakout year this season. Our strength and conditioning coach, Moffitt, has said QT will make a pretty penny in the NFL... Really athletic and built like a brick house.... And now he's done before the season started. Sucks.

I'm most worried about replacing his leadership and understanding of the D. We already had a young DL going into this season, now we lost QT and get that much younger. Out young guys are gonna have to grow up very very fast. I like our young guys as well, especially Bain. I picked him to be our break out player on D this season all hopefully I'll be right!

Here's to a speedy recovery for QT
