the young men just wanted a little vacation. that's all
Yea but point being he only brought his receivers. That's my point.

Ok pal. Good one.
Why did our Quarterback and our wide receiver unit go to California?

It surely wasn't to build chemistry and throw the football around.
re: "Daniels gives LSU the best chance to win games"

I don't think so. It's the defense. Only way we are even close, is the defensive play. They are playing very well right now. And only getting better each and every game. Wish the offense could wake up and realize this season is half way over already.

5 games in and he is still not willing to let WR make a play. I thought he'd have gotten more comfortable with that by now
Right, thought that's why he left ASU and came to a school like LSU to take advantage of it's receiving core. Seasons bout half over now. If not now, when?
re: How long does BK stay with JD if he continues to not improve on finding open receivers?

Well, hopefully it it is all season, which it may be, who knows. But, I really hope in the spring Howard gets a serious look for the starting role. And hope the staff doesn't just hope they can fix Daniels.
Which could put Daniels in a tough spot it he loses job next season and misses being drafted.
God bless,
And good night too all.

That is funny, I thought that too last night. At same time, he got way more action than any of our star receivers. But still funny.
re: Is developing Nuss worth the risk of losing an extra game or two?
Posted by DaygoTiger on 10/2/22 at 1:38 pm
I have a idea, even the commentators last night talked about JD being a two minute qb. For some reason he only plays good when it's two minute offense.
How about start playing someone else someone else more throughout the quarter (throughout the game), and bring Daniels in for two minute offense. Couldn't hurt to experiment.

re: Qb play sucked, but what are people seeing with Nuss?
Posted by DaygoTiger on 10/2/22 at 1:24 pm
A change in scenery for our receivers maybe? We had a total of 270 yards last night. 270. 85 passing. That is horrible. So what Nuss throws a couple pics. At least we get some passing yards and keep defenses honest. And our receivers actually get some action. I understand we need wins(Kelly needs wins)., But maybe we get to six wins and then let Nuss finish out our rebuild year.
re: Daniels can’t read defenses at all

Commentators were praising his performance all season last night saying about his leadership to decision making. And talking about how he doesn't throw interceptions. I don't get it. It's frustrating watching this at this point. Season is almost halfway over. He has no improvement at this point. Zero.
re: Why is a freshman TE getting twice as many targets as an All American WR every game?
Posted by DaygoTiger on 10/2/22 at 1:08 pm
Maybe we should switch out our right end for Bech or someone who is a play maker? If he likes throwing to right end so much. And eventually other stars we have will not be double teamed as much..right?
re: Coach BK says they did not prepare Jaden Daniels well enough for some looks from Auburn

The o-line is playing much better right now. Giving him time back there most of the time.
Wouldn't you guys at least like to see another qb(Nuss), go out there and maybe he throws a couple pics, but also throws for 250 in the game with a couple scores. Would at least keep the receivers interested in being out there. It's getting hard to watch, and some kind of change needs to happen.
With JD all we have is the two minute offense, which was talked about last night as well. We can't keep doing this.
At the beginning of the season, it was that the o-line couldn't give enough time to have anyone else back there to throw the ball with any time. Well that's not the case anymore.
I'd trade a win for some stats. Right now we have no stats. Just some thoughts.

re: Hard to believe a veteran QB like Brennan would not have made this offense better….
Posted by DaygoTiger on 10/2/22 at 11:06 am
It kind of sucks, wish he didn't hang it up so soon. He obviously saw the the staff really wanted to develop JD and go with him no matter what. Really wish he stayed though. We could really use him right now. And I bet he'd have starting role locked up by now. I'm sure he's kicking himself right now.

And this is with some of the best wide receiver talent you can accumulate at the college level.
re: Only real frustrating part of this team

Or myles if he stayed. He could have played some at this point. Maybe he should of stuck it out a little longer.
re: Anyone surprised LSU offense played better than LSU’s defense and special teams?
Posted by DaygoTiger on 9/7/22 at 9:35 pm
The defense is what even gave the offense the opportunity to have that great comeback at the end of the game. FSU could have easily scored again, should have. Definitely 3rd down defense needs lots of work, but overall could be quite good by games 4 or 5. Who knows it could be something like Arandas bend but don't break defense.

That is a stupid arse take man c'mon. Jayden has played college ball for three years hes has 28 starts. That was Joe's first start. It shouldn't matter if it was in an LSU jersey or not.
