Never mind the competition, the offense is completely different. You obviously haven’t watched them. The stats aside, if you can’t tell the difference in formations and play selection then I don’t know what to tell you

Texas would hang 40+ on UF

Last year LSU scored 169 points in their first 5 games
This year LSU has scored 273 in 5 games
Yep same offense

Doubtful
He posts in this manner often
Very matter of fact, yet clearly uninformed. It’s the worst kind of stupid

Good Lord you are stupid. The LSU Offense and Burrow are nothing like they were last year.

2018--Young WR's, QB first year at school, OC old guy that I like but not a passing guru, you could see improvement by the end of year to passing game.
2019--More time to continue improvement that you could c at the end of 2018 season, hired a coach to help with passing game that worked with N.O. Saints, WR's with experience, HC willing to win games by outscoring opponents and QB with more reps with WR's.
We probably don't score 50 but this is a different situation for sure.

I don't understand LSU fans. Florida has the same (if not even better) defense as last year. LSU has the same offense as last year. But yet, LSU fans think they'll hang 50+ on us. What makes LSU so confident? They've faced some of the worst defenses so far this year. This is your QB, right?
I am on your side on this. Florida will beat LSU again this year and then Missouri will beat Florida again this year! Agree?

For educational purposes, I suggest that you watch your DC’s press conference from Monday. A female reporter asks a similar question “same offense as last year, what makes it special”. Grantham scoffs at her lack of football acumen and begins to provide a simple explanation of the difference and layers of complexities involved. He also candidly states that it will be a tremendous challenge for his defense because of the complexities.
It’s very simple, 90 percent of college OC’s call a play. That play is set in stone unless audibles, but even the sublime is a set in stone play. LSU comes to the line , snaps then ball and as the defense moves , routes are run based upon what both the QB and WR read in regard to the D’s reaction. Sort of like
Soccer, very fluid and dynamic based upon in play reads. In concept, similar to a triple
Option. Maybe it’s FB dive, maybe pitch, maybe QB keep. All Depends on he D’s reaction. Here, you have 4-5 receivers reading and reacting instead of a FB , TB combo. Highly sophisticated and what the better NFL offenses are running today because there is no longer a “pre snap” read that tells a D what you are going to run. Educate yourself before you make ignorant posts.
