I would expect LSU to put up around 400 offensive yards, and I would expect Georgia to do the same. Its going to be a 31-27 type game.

If you think UF and AU are good offenses, you're in for a real treat against LSU.
Our offense has been tested against 3 good defenses. Your defense has seen only serviceable/bad offenses.

Reading the tea leaves from the Op's post, and the many in here just like it....

Yes, and the 8-1 Saints lost to the 1-7 Falcons. But LSU is guaranteed a win over Georgia. Hmmm.

Interesting thread. I think it's important to remember that there is a pretty substantial difference between 267 and 328 (Bama's average with LSU included) when discussing averages. That 60 yard difference is the difference between ranked 6th nationally in defense and 27th.
Just did an analysis, because I was bored. UGA has held teams under their Total Off. average in every single game, the one being close was UT. The average is a drop in 119.31 yards when playing UGA. Which, would still be about 437 yards (556 avg - 119.31) for LSU.
Somewhat related and since I already had the spreadsheet set up, LSU has held their opponent's under their average in 4 games (GaSo, Utah st, Miss St, and Auburn) and their average difference -31.34. Which would be about 397.36 after subtracting that average on UGA's offense.
I know football isn't played with numbers but it's still fun to see.
