You must be new here if you haven't been overwhelmed by the trolling ship U.S.S LSU
Just accept that Chill got you and move on
It's all good, it's last my bedtime goodnight

I must be new, huh?
mmmmkay. You must be new if you can't see that I've been here 4 times as long as ATM has beem a member of the conference that brings it more credibility than it's history or results on the field.
yes I have almost as many posts as you...it just took 8 years to get to that amount.
Here's an idea for you sarge. "push your fat arse away from keyboard for a few days"
eta;;;; oh....you've had enough...I see.....g'night son.

It's funny how UT just hired Shaka Smart from VCU and they're paying the buyout ($500K), plus potentially another $200K-250K if they don't play a home-and-home against them. BIG difference between the two.
quote:
By leaving before May 1, Smart owes VCU a $500,000 buyout. His contract also contains a provision that if he became a head coach at another institution, that school would have to compensate VCU with a home-and-home series or pay VCU $250,000. Patterson said Texas would fulfill those obligations.

Then quit starting threads about it.

Ags have utilized the internet for validation like the Tide has used the Football Thesaurus for retroactively dated championships......Anything to make one feel better about self.

Like we needed another example of UT outclassing Aggy.

Sarge the contract is public record. And atm attached it to a pleading so it's easily accessible from brazos county district clerks website. I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

You Aggies will soon figure out why he doesn't want anything to get to third down.

Ummm not exactly, what was it? Jizztrap? Definitely more appropriate when talking to an aggie.
What is actually going on is Chavis sued LSU and atm in a dec action in effort to avoid litigating in Louisiana. Lsu responded. Last I checked atm has not responded. Answer date has passed so lsu has filed to remove Chavis' case to federal court. It's not a new case. It's same case transferred from state to federal court. Without looking at removal I imagine lsu has alleged atm was falsely joined in state suit solely to keep venue. If atm files to remand back to state court the federal judge will have to make a ruling on whether atm is a proper party. If atm didn't answer in state court I imagine it will stay in federal court. Atm most likely will be dismissed and it will be litigated in federal court.
Of course because you obviously read all of the pleadings instead of the shitty aggie message board it means you just don't understand what is going on and should just shut the hell up

You can't blame LSU fans for trying to put their best spin on this situation. Deep down they understand.
You know what Ive come to understand? Aggies like to run their mouths and talk up a big game and we turn them into a whipping boy yearly. Johnny football is gonna tear your defense up... We're gonna win by 3 tds in Death Valley.... Blah blah blah Chavis will not change this! Carry on

Chilge, the pleadings are easily accessible through brazos county district clerk website. Atm also did us the favor of attaching his contract so if you really want to read it, it's there

Hugh known how I know you haven't looked at the contracts?
Chavis attached a contract he signed but noone else. Lsu attached the contract with the amendments which is executed by all parties. And oh yeah, Chavis signed it separately from the contract he produced. It wasn't altered. Guess he just forgot he signed it. Senility is a bitch.

I could only see the first page...

Posted on 4/3/15 at 11:49 pm to UHTiger
I'm not going to try to attach an image of the contract. I'm just too lazy. BUT, here is where to find the pleadings:
LINK
click civil case search
then for the field enter either Chavis and scroll down to the proper suit or the case number, which is 15-000505-cv-272
You can then read the pleadings. Exhibit B attached to LSU's answer is the fully executed contract (9 pages).
Hope this helps.
Also, just glanced at the removal briefly and LSU's argument is strong. Did not allege atm falsely joined, but instead argued that because atm and Chavis' interests are so aligned that atm should be considered a plaintiff, thus creating diversity and making removal proper.
LSU's attorneys have a very very good reputation. One of the named partners is former chief justice of Texas Supreme Court. The attorney signing all of the pleadings on behalf of LSU is an aggie alum, i mean former student.

LSU suing over Chavis is to the A&M fanbase what LSU storming the field against Ole Miss is to the Ole Miss fanbase
The greatest thing to ever happen to them
The greatest thing to ever happen to them

Which is fine, they aren't wizards who can extract blood from a stone.
The facts are mostly in Chavis's favor, he legally quit in Feburary. LSU will go "but but but recruiting photos" and it will either get thrown out or they will be forced to settle for less than the full buyout as the judge gets pissed about the waste of time.
And then LSU fans will have a new reason to be pissed at their AD.
