How does this work for the 1-7 seeds? Doesn't this open up a pretty big opportunity for them to throw games depending on who they would want in the playoffs?

I guess they still need the games to get into game shape so maybe I'm overthinking this

I feel like this is more confusing than they had they just gone with the group stage idea. This season is going to end up having an unwritten asterisk on it anyway, might as well have had fun with it.

Oh well, the Pels get to play more basketball. Guess I can't complain.

Gbamin hurt his Achilles in practice today and is likely out the rest of 2020 :banghead: poor dude is never going to get healthy.

In other news, what do y'all think about the kit deal with Hummel? Tbh I never had much of an issue with the Umbro kits outside of the shitty sportpesa sponsorship.

I guess we're supposed to be Hummel's flagship club so hopefully we'll get some new designs ideally with some better sponsors.
I want to try that so bad but know I would 100% break the yolk attempting to fold it together

If they're seeding in a normal way going by records, here's how the groups would likely play out:

That's not how it would work the way KOC laid it out in the article.

There would be 5 tiers of 4 teams based on record, with tier 1 being the the 4 best teams and tier 5 being the 4 worst. A random draw would pull 1 team from each tier into 4 5-team groups

This should be a non-story. MJ absolutely had a hand in keeping Isiah off the team. He hated Isiah and you can see it in the documentary.

He wasn't the only one, though. Pippen didn't like Isiah. Bird didn't like him after Isiah's "if Bird was black, he'd be just another good player" comment. Magic was closest to Isiah, but not enough to stick up for him.

So yeah, MJ campaigned against Isiah. McCallum's book is pretty clear. He wasn't the only one, though.

I think its a bit weird that he would lie about something when no one would blame him for telling the truth, for all the reasons you listed.

Depends on the players and how much they'll actually get paid, I guess. But after reading Lillard's comments I get why some wouldn't think its worth it. If you don't have anything to play for, might as well get head start on your off-season training and not have to be separated from your family to do so.

Anyone who thinks they are going to finish the regular season at this point is deluding themselves

Especially with Lillard basically coming out and saying he wouldn't play if they try to finish the regular season. And I'm sure there are plenty other guys on non-contenders that feel the same way.

And it's pretty understandable to not want to have to go through all of the quarantine/testing procedures if you know you won't make the playoffs.

Well..... that didn’t last long

10:01 and it was gone. frick em

And that is why Parish will continue doing this shite
Twitter trends are so dumb. I clicked on the hashtag and couldn't find one serious tweet about wanting Fallon fired. But now we can get a shitty article about how 50k people have tweeted that hashtag even though it's mostly just people talking about the absurdity of it.

It's called being a FAN.

Deal with it

There's a difference between being a fan and being out of touch with reality

I was a fan of the show. The last 2 seasons sucked, and it was disappointing. But I got over it about a day after the finale because it's just a fricking TV show.

If you're that upset about the ending that you feel the need to sign a dumb petition like it's actually going to change anything, then you should probably reevaluate your priorities in life.
Anyone who signs a petition because they are upset that a TV show didn't end the way they wanted it to is a giant loser.
What if I just want to watch golf and don't give a shite about hearing from Trump or Bill Murray or whoever else NBC wants to bring on?
The golf itself hasn't been that great, but this would still be far more entertaining if they just dialed back the production and let us listen to the mic'd up players.
I love Bill Murray but that went on way too long. Just show us the golf
