Well, we have also recruited a lot more high school players in the last two classes that are a much higher level than what Lane brought in. You’re not thinking about how they can contribute to our team next season. Lane sucks at recruiting high school players. LSU does a mix of transfer portal and high school players, but are now leaning more towards the majority of high school players. That is honestly what all the top programs are doing right now. I don’t blame Lane/OM for going all in for next season, then he can ride off into the sunset, which has been his plan all along.

And, our coaches decided a while ago that Nussmeier was the guy. But the next best option was going to have no experience, so it makes sense to bring in another body. What don’t you get about this? If you have a need for a back up quarterback, you fill it. That’s what this guy is.

How is LSU defensive coach search going right now?

I thought Kelly was a defense minded HC. It that is true then he had done a very poor job on the defense. Plus, he failed to get it done when he was hired in the first place at LSU.

People also laughed at LSU picking up Jayden Daniels from ASU.

I am thinking this is the long range ticket for programs to be successful. Currently this NIL is nothing but a bunch of hired guns with no allegiance to the programs. They do want to actually play and support their teammates, unless there is something in it for themselves. No reason to play in postseason games, despite how that can be a boost to the school's recruiting and provide a great experience for their teammates who may not be moving on to the next step. I think bringing in players, from HS, who actually want to be in a program, cements stability and in the long run makes good programs better. Good for LSU.

I’m confused? Is this an LSU grad Ole Miss fan? Like Stingray (Gump to Clanga to Mizzou fan)?

Are you a grad of the glorious DiNardo era? Makes for an interesting Corn-Shark (Land-Dog?) species if so.

LSU has more conference and national titles than Ole Myth has wins against LSU over the last generation.

You’ve won absolutely nothing.

He was a starter and got hurt. Don’t let facts get in the way of your irrational post.

Bob Dylan wrote “The Times They are A-Changin’ in 1964. He must have been talking about the Ole Miss football program that won the SEC Championship in 1960, 1962 and 1963 because they haven’t won the SEC since.

Well your wrong b/c he is more of an offensive mind but has put together a lot of good defenses in his career. Expect changes after early signing day.

Rebs took Howard. A third string behind another second stringer you took.

Address that please.
