LSU survived more than anything against South Carolina, bailed out by multiple questionable officiating calls

I’ll tell you this. It’s nice to be on the benefitting side of these for a change.

LSU is a program in steep decline. And they will be until they get rid of that whiny yankee coach they have.

Correct me if I’m wrong haven’t we beat SC 8 times in a row! No matter how it looked, the record in the end tells the truth. Your fault, my fault don’t matter Cocks can’t beat LSU even when they suck!

Why are you all so obsessed with LSU when your teams had wins yesterday, especially Missouri? You’d think you would be enjoying that instead of focused on LSU. Makes no sense to me.

I’m not trying to be a jerk when I say that even if you lost to BC yesterday, the voters would’ve forgotten to drop your ranking because no one gives a shite about Missouri.

I don’t even think Wikipedia has updated its SEC page to include Missouri in the list of teams.

It’s a shame losing to LSU last year cost them a chance at the playoffs.

The funny thing is Missouri is so irrelevant that I’m not even convinced that game happened

I got a gross feeling of imposter syndrome when I realized it was an SEC win. It just didn’t feel right.

How about the illegal punt block sc fans ???? That significantly effected the game so I think the refs had to make a make up call on the interception call.

Nope. Mizzou beat lsu in 2020 on an amazing goal line stand.

The series is 2-2 all time, by the way.

1994 in Tiger Stadium monsoon game proves otherwise -

of course Carolina didn't get to play 0-7 Gerry DiNardo before he got canned in 1999 - when LSU really really really sucked -

the LSU in Williams-Brice yesterday was least physical tigers team probably since the 1999 DiNardo team

LSU was asleep for the first quarter. Their effort is questionable for sure.

As far as questionable calls? Get fricked.

OPI is by rule legit. You can’t block downfield during a pass play before the ball is caught.

The backside block was legit. You can’t hit a player while running against the flow of the play. And truthfully, if Nuss wasn’t knocked to hit back, it’s probably not called. Blame the player for the cheap shot. That rule is in place to limit concussions. The they will never not call that.

The horse collar is a new rule but still legit. You can’t tackle by the collar.

What about the illegal punt block? You can’t leap forward over a blocker. Only straight up. Also Weeks was held on Sanders big TD run.

Refs don’t blow 17 point leads. Bad football does. South Carolina lost because they can’t throw the ball.

I stopped reading after

“The bigger concern was the Tigers' defense that looked as bad as it did a year ago”

He obviously didn’t watch LSU last year. South Carolina would have scored in the mid 40s last year. The defense has a long day to go, but they’re getting better.
