Perdue was missing their starting QB, WR and head coach. It is what it is
I get that, but we were missing 3 of 4 starters on the dline and 1 starting CB, so not like we were at full strength either.

They should be favorites to win it all next year after that performance

This is 100% bait, but I will bite.

Slow the roll, Purdue was very weakened yesterday, but the foundation of next year's team is what you saw yesterday. It all depends on how much JD can improve in his weak spots and can we fill the holes in the secondary.

I feel for Purdue playing with scraps at QB. Let’s not forget we had opt outs as well just not at the most important position.

Welcome to our world where injuries and missing players only matter for the other team.

No matter how you slice it up, LSU played a great game and dominated from the start.

I wish I could go back and find the post I made right after the FSU game saying they would be a force to be reckoned with by season’s end. Even the LSU guys were saying pump the brakes.

What made you think that?

Because we were playing so sloppily that I figured we'd be struggling with fundamentals well into November, and FSU didn't play a good game either.

Beating a half-assed B1G program which showed up with a skeleton crew and a fill-in coach isn't all that big an achievement.

Auburn didn’t beat Bama and win the SECW that year though

With Bryce gone, Bama is taking a huge step back and auburn will be trash again next year

LSU is on the fast track to winning the west again next year without a doubt

They tried to kill LSU's mojo with that 30 minute interview/reach-around/love fest for Purdue's next-year coach and the genius level QB coaching skills of Brees.

But it didn't work...

None of this was in your original statement.

One wonders how much LSU's win is due to how good the Tigers were, how bad Purdue played or perhaps what a terrible matchup it was. Combo of all three maybe?

No doubt it was the worst whipping we've seen of a Big Ten team in some time.
