Why do you hope this? What does his mental state have to do with the fact he can’t make a starting lineup?

that's why he can't make a starting lineup. he started at lsu as a freshman before his mental health declined,he was a beast even as a freshman. I promise you if his head was right he would have started anywhere as sophomore then junior and then would have went 1round. he probably would have started anywhere as a freshman too like he did at lsu

He has mental issues? I haven’t read that anywhere on the internet. The only thing I have read is he can’t make a starting lineup and therefore transfers to new team.

That’s why I’m wondering what his “mental” state has to do with the fact maybe he’s not as good as you’re all saying.

Alabama has a winning record against the "mean 'ol Tigers" in every major sport.

Including baseball.

He checked into a mental institution. Not sure if having a breakdown qualifies as boldly quitting your school.

He has a severe combination of personality and emotional disorders. He needs intensive therapy before he tries to play football or do anything else productive with his life. It seems his family has no interest in getting him the help he needs, so he just bounces around from one place to the next. He played as a true freshman at LSU. Talent is not the issue.

Really? That's surprising.

I asked ChatGPT:

Yes, multiple news articles and reports have discussed Arik Gilbert’s mental health challenges during his collegiate football career.

Media Coverage
• Atlanta Journal-Constitution: In August 2021, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart stated that Gilbert was “dealing with some personal issues” and emphasized the team’s support for him. ?
• Rolling Out: An article highlighted that mental health had been a primary concern for Gilbert since his arrival in college football, noting his multiple transfers and the challenges he faced. ?
• DawgNation: Following Gilbert’s arrest in Nebraska, the publication reported that both Georgia and Nebraska coaching staffs had been working to support him through his personal struggles. ?

Online Discussions
• Reddit: Users on the r/georgiabulldogs subreddit have speculated about Gilbert’s mental health, with some suggesting he may have been dealing with schizophrenia, though these claims are unverified. ?
• HuskerMax Forums: Discussions have included mentions of potential diagnoses and the impact of medication on his performance, reflecting concerns about his well-being. ?

While official statements have primarily referred to “personal issues,” the consistent emphasis on Gilbert’s well-being by coaches and media suggests that mental health has been a significant factor in his career trajectory.
