Hell, even Army beat Houston 70-14 in its bowl game back in 2018. You're right, LSU embarrassed the SEC and needs to have a scarlet "L" for Loser seared into the forehead of their coaches, players, and fans.

If this is 80% true I’d probably enjoy drinking a beer or 2 with you IRL. But this is the rant so

The irony in my fandom is that I’ve spent a decent amount of money to mainly watch my team lose big games. Somehow, I always pick the wrong games to go to.

2025: Bama/FSU game was the only FB game I attended

2024: Bama loses to UConn in F4 in Phoenix (expected to lose, but was a pretty good game and we gave them their biggest scare of the whole tournament)

2023: S16 #1 seed Bama loses to #5 SDST despite being up 7 in the 2nd half (we shot 3-30 on 3s; I did see us win the first 2 rounds in Birmingham though).

2021:Braves WS game 5….Braves hit grand slam in 1st inning and it looks like I’m going to see us win a world championship in person. We proceed to lose the game, but at least we closed it out in game 6 in Houston.

2017: only football NC I’ve attended and saw Deshaun Watson break our hearts on the pick play

I’ve seen Bama basketball win 2 SEC regular season championships in person. Those were fun. Can’t make this Rose Bowl, but we’ll probably try to go to the next one Bama is in (means we’ll probably win this one and lose the one I attend in person )

Then you were technically 2hrs from Green Bay and I was more like 1.5ish. I was 30 min north of you near Sheboygan.

Maybe you missed what happened to Alabama earlier this year when they played Florida State? Alabama ended up clearly as one of the top SEC teams and they lost to a bottom half ACC team. How does that compare to LSU losing to Houston?

I was there…trust me, I saw it. FSU essentially let Miami beat them 3 times and quit on their season after that. If Miami didn’t have an extra week advantage over FSU and FSU didn’t look ahead to Miami causing the OT road loss to UVA, their season could have been very different. After those back to back losses, they didn’t get ready for the west coast trip and were going through the motions. They quit on the season like they did against UGA in the bowl game and you saw what happened in the next game. Norvell can’t keep his teams engaged once they don’t have something play for.

Houston just sucks. They aren’t a good team and have far less talent than FSU and almost all SEC teams. Losing to Houston is bottom rung behavior.

1. Houston is currently a ranked POWER 4 conference (Big12) team.

2. UH was the favorite and the home team.

3. LSU, a 7-5 team, was missing too many players to even be as close as it was. Coaches are busy looking for jobs and NOT focused on this bowl.

4. Tomorrow begins the Lane Kiffin era at LSU. We'll get back to playing UH the first game in 2027 in that same stadium we played in tonight.

Next you’re going to tell me Cincinnati and UCF are also POWER 4 teams, right? UH has barely been able to compete in the B12 the past few years and was gifted a very easy schedule. They’re a glorified G5 team, hence the post. Appears that went right over your head

They're honestly humiliating all the way around. Think about it. What do they really bring to the conference?

Maybe bringing encouragement to coke addicts that one day, they too might be able to be head coach of LSU

You idiots get on here and say LSU embarrassed the sec.How so? It's a meaningless bowl where half the LSU team opts out as usual. So get mad all you want but the only people that should be mad are the LSU fans that made the trip to watch 2nd and 3rd stringers.

We literally had the 2nd team squad out there: interim HC, backup QB and multiple opt-outs.
Sounds like a LOT of quitters on that team

The only reason the big 10 is winning anything is because your boosters are paying more for the 4 and 5 stars. The talent in this country comes from the southeast and you know it .

Then why don’t you pull for the Brewers? You’re a clown and a bandwagon fan. I’m from New Orleans and have rooted for the Astros since I could comprehend baseball (mid 80’s). You on the other hand picked the team of the 90’s instead of your hometown team as a kid in Wisconsin. That’s cuck behavior.
